Crawl back under your rock, moron. This story says a lot about treating people well and getting treated well in return. The other option is don't give in and be out of a job in six months. The owner of a Taco John franchise isn't exactly rich.It provides jobs for students and older people to supplment their income.

Oh come on you people. Cant there be a nice story without some having a nasty comment.

If I lived closer I would definately frequent this business. I wish I had a boss like her. She is setting a good example for the younger workers on how the workforce should be.

Come on Rosemount people, cant you frequent her business more.

This story is EXACTLY why living in America is great. People helping people is what this country needs. NOT some multi-billion dollar bailout. Kudos to the peope who did this for this business owner.
PS NO DFL< go crawl back under your rock and stay there you liberal idiot.

In California, there is a suggestion that government employees have a "unpaid day off" twice a month to help with their state's financial situation. The employee's union is fighting this... perhaps we could send them this article?

Finally a positive story...thanks Pioneer Press...another reason I dropped the paper across the river. The headline in that paper would have been, "Franchise owner takes advantage of less fortunate employees while bastardizing ethnic food and selling sub-prime mortgages". Just when all the negativity of this world starts your day in the dumper, a story like this redeems all that is good in the human spirit. Hats off to these employees. I'll try to stop by today for a Taco Bravo and mor.

I do and I will. I think I will stop for lunch.

DFL, you are a class act. Let's just boycott the place to make you happy. We can lay off the workers, close the business, all the suppliers can have less work, maybe lay a few of them off also. Lawn care guy has one less job. Snow plow guy has one less job. City loses tax base, and the state loses more income taxes.

Sounds good to me. We should put you on the stimulus recovery plan board. I hope you don't pay your taxes, then you will be qualified. IDIOT.

Yes, let's punish someone for trying to build up a business and do well. Just because they hire people, add tax base, and help the economy we should punish them for being ambitious.

Darn it, she should just give up, collect welfare and be a drain on society like you maybe?

I'm betting 2 burritos and a soft shell that somewhere there's a government agency that will get wind of this, and they'll step in and put an end to it; with consequences and repercussions for all.

We gotta get a union in there to help out as it sounds like some jobs may be at risk.
