WE all have to be aware of getting ripped off today, after all it happens every day in some form or another. Good for the watchdogs. When gas was less money we didn't notice, but now when things are getting out of hand we are watching closer. Lets take that into consideration in ALL aspects of life! We live in a ME ME society today.

Yes, and lets all be sure to inform the station owner when we suspect we received more gas than we paid for.

"The station owner generally doesn't have the tools to know whether he is shorting people or giving gas away," Quinn said.

What, the station owners can't get a couple of steel five gallon containers and do the same test the inspector does?

It's in their interest to do so, after all as the article stated sometimes the pumps are giving TOO much gas.

Ban all gas stations and let the government give us gas at a regulated price.

"The problems usually occur because of normal wear and tear, Quinn said. She said she's surprised more pumps don't fail, considering all the use they get."

Yep, sounds like someone's really out to rip you off.
