December 7, 1941: A day that will go down in infamy - is a worst one coming?

Full story: Examiner.com

As an eight-month old little girl, I actually remember little about the bombing of Pearl Harbor; but I almost feel that I remember because of all the stories told to me by my parents and grandparents.

The "YAMATO" was the name of the ship. "YAMAMOTO" was the name of a Japanese admiral.

The Battleship Yamato was over-rated. Her guns were fired only ONCE in WWII, she's only famous for hauling Admiral Yamamoto around for a while, wandering back and forth across the ocean, avoiding battle. The one and only time her guns were fired was in support of the Phillipine invasion, at land targets. When she tried to fight a real battle, she was quickly sunk by an American Submarine. So much for the "Invincible Imperial Japanese Navy."
