She's smart. She's cute. And now she's rich. Good for her.

This young woman sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders. Amen for that and may you prosper in the future as well with this kick off financially. Mom, get a grip on shopping however.

Sorry to tell Jasmine the bad news, but exactly 12 years ago on April 1996 I loan her $900,000 and since she was poor, I let it go but now since she won the jackpot, I'm here to collect my money, which is rightfully mine! If whe wants another loan, she can call me and I'll even loan her mother any much she wants. Man up, Jasmine.

Congratulations on your win! Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. Glad the money isn't going to your head (yet). Keep trucking. After all $91,000 (minus taxes of course) does help ease your burden but it won't last forever. Take care of mom and family, give some to charity, save some and enjoy the rest.

It's a shame that 50% will have to go to taxes... but there is still going to be a good bit left. Way to go.... dreams can come true.

Good for her, but she's ensured that millions of more of Hawaii's welfare checks will be flowing into Vegas for the next ten years. Watch the jump in airplane reservations after the fifth.
