This is just way to UNFAIR for the alleged VICTIM! Everyone is condemning him without even knowing the FACTS yet. First, we have to take into accounts that the cops were looking for a RED TRUCK, next, there were no witnesses to the accident. No evidences, no trace, no nothing for anything, just ASSUMPTIONS, speculations, the media is blowing way out of proportions. This is more like a "finger pointing" case, are the honolulu cops getting a "bad" grade from the old Aldrige thay they needed desperately to link accident happened at a different time to that of the young Aldridge? Come on, people of Honolulu, you guys are smarter than these, another wrong move on the part of HPD, tsk. tsk. tsk. and PLS. we do not know the guy involved, so we may just as well, all SHUT UP and wait for further investigations, until then.... CHILL PEOPLE!
Time to take a deep breath...

Investigations can take many twists and turns, like the DC Sniper (I don't call it sniping, I call it murder) case. They were initially looking for a white box van. Montgomery County Chief Charles Moose was heavily involved in that case and is, coincidentally, now a police officer with HPD. The vehicle actually used in the shootings was a blue Chevy sedan.

Echoing other sentiments, let the investigation run its course and let us pray that justice is served in the end.

Let us wait until all the facts are in before condemning HPD. They may not be much but they occasionally get it right.

sounds like the usual HPD mess up.
HPD is there to enforce the law and protect the public. I know patrol officers and chiefs to dispatcher-when the public needs assistance, they are there. They risk their lives to protect us. Too bad people can't look at the good things that are done by the men and women of the police department.

I to know many individuals in the Honolulu police force but that doesn't mean that they didn't make a mistake or that an innocent, until proven guilty, man should pay for or be held accountable for the foul up.

The truth will come out that maybe the truck was red then, but now is white after a repair paint job. Either that or the eye witness was DUI with blood shot eyes. Let's make sure the accused gets a fair trail and the victum's family can get some closure. Let's not prejudge this case. Great job HPD.

This guy just gave the fillipino community a black eye! I wonder if they are going to drug test him? Sounds like something an ice-head would do!
this is assuming that you, and most everyone else, stereotypes all filipinos. btw, it also sounds like something a drunk person would do!

according to psychological tests and surveys, eyewitness accounts are not very accurate, especially moments after the event occurs.

We will be having a prayer service in honor of David's memory this Thursday. David's former friends and teachers in Cedar Park will continue to keep David and his family in our prayers.
