<quoted text> They don't carve canoes at Pokai anymore. They recently closed that area of Pokai down, or opened it, according to how you look at it.The rash rumors were here long before the problem in Japan. Sometimes after a heavy perio dof rain there may be runoff with some chemicals in it, but no testing ever finds anything. I have a friend that won't go near the water because, "It's all contaminated." He's one of the tin-foil hat crowd that thinks black people are an alien/animal animal experiment gone wrong.
Here we go again with your racial nonsense, I think mangelanders like you are alien/animal experments gone wrong, you are probably hairy and gross looking with spotted skin ugh.

Lolo, I've heard the same thing. I go kayaking and swimming all the time there with my kidsand have never gotten any rash or met anyone that has.
Glad to hear that. I love that place also. I had a condo right across the street. Swim on one side, waves on the other.

Remember the Allison tuna tournament? First time I ever saw one, I had them pictured as similar to a trout and they were hauling just one in a wheelbarrow.

That's a nice area as long as you don't have too much stuff.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It seems Mr. Ball's friend might be a bit too ethnocentric.

Actually, The name rings a bell, but I wasn't in Waiane until the nineties, when I moved from Ewa Beach. Did he by chance own a boat? For some reason that just popped into my head.

Never mind, I just remembered who Romy is, and I don't know him. Romy was a local polititian and that's why the name was familiar to me.

when I knew him he worked in the grocery store on Farrington Hwy. I left in 83, so he could have gone into local politics, I have no idea.
