For the past three weeks, hpd has been patroling on our street daily towing away cars that have expired tags, abandoned,or illegally parked! And the only complaint I have is that they aren't doing it right there were at least 10 cars towed from my street, and two cars were mine! I complain because knowing that they were out to tow cars and one of my vehicles that I jus recieved was not up to date was out on the street,I moved it to my aunts house on the opposite side of Waipahu! And yeah it was parked on the street.but it was in front of a truck that had been parked there for over 2 years and hasn't moved for that long too.not even 3 days parked and HPD towed it! Ok I understand it wasn't up to date but neither was the truck in back of it! And guess what it's still there till this day! What's up with that? That made me feel like their picking on me!because I had about 5 cars on the street at one time! Now there's only 3 up to date and running! I have respect to my neighbors and I am the only one who cleans this dead end we live at!If any one out there can tell me why all of a sudden HPD decided to patrol everyday and tow vehicles on a daily basis and why the truck in back of my car didn't get towed I will continue to feel like HPD is harassing me! And I no deserve this after all I do for my neighborhood!!!!!!
