I'm glad you "cleaned up" this article. Whoever wrote the Breaking News version needs to be let go. OMG -- very poor writing skills. Doesn't anyone read or edit before something is posted online? Embarrassing. Even in this article, the third paragraph should say "single gunshot wound" instead of just "single gunshot." Good help is hard to get, I suppose.

What another loser. When you lookup the word "loser" in the dictionary, you'll see his picture. His parents should have been barred from breeding.

In a classroom today, this paper would not get a Zero. One can get the gist of what the writer is trying to say. Mechanics are poor, but ideas are somewhat clear: this woman knows those involved and they've helped the troubled shooter in the past. They also love the victim and wants the three who were arrested to all tell the truth about what happened when they are in court. Nothing wrong with that.

In the old days, this paper would get a big red F on it and the writer would write no more. Today, this paper would get a rating of Well Below. Teacher and peers would help this writer improve this paper with the help of writing rubrics to guide them. This would take several class sessions. The paper would then get better rating and the writer would be honored for expressing her ideas. She would write again, but in the same horrid manner. But at least should would continue to express herself in writing. That's the difference between the old days and now.

It would be nice to hear the whole real story b 4 people start talking trash. No one on here knows the true story so i dont think anyone should make up stories. For those who knew Chad know he was a humble man with a big heart that has been through a tough life and when there was alcohol involved things could get a little ugly but for the most part he was a great guy, friend, and father to his kids. I wish i knew what had happen that morning but i dont so i wont sit here and say that he is not to blame but like i said NO ONE KNOWS BUT THE ONES THAT WERE THERE!(anything COULD have happened that night) My prayers go out to the family who lost a loved one so young and also to Chads family and most of all his kids who loved him so dearly.

Nope. Good spankings at the right age and the right time would solve most issues.

To ALL you people who don't know Chad or the whole story or even HALF of it, should "SHUT DA F***-UP". You shouldn't be judging a book by its cover without reading it. Chad IS AN HUMBLE,LOVING FATHER-FRIEND-BROTHER-UNCLE. It was just an unfortunate accident.

If it were an accident, Chad himself would've called 911 for an ambulance to help save Kamu's life, wouldn't you think? I can't imagine what lead up to this shooting and how the 3 guys just left Kamu lying there to die. "Loving" doesn't describe those people.
