I wish Hawaii had the death penalty implemented. We should be frying this pig, darnell griffin, so that he can't use up Hawaii's tax money to feed his swine okole while he's in prison for life. Life in prison, good. But feeding him, giving him medical care, etc, at the expense of our taxpayer's money, is no good! And how is it that this guy won early probation after the 1983 murder? Hawaii's judges are just wacko some times.

Justice is served, I guess. Griffin is found guilty of murder in 1983 and is paroled in 1996. Now, he's found guilty of killing this 20 year old and the state wants to put him away for good. Too late, they should have done that after the 1st killing. Of course that wouldn't be Hawaii justice now would it. Anyway, God bless Ms Luka and her family. Hopefully, they'll find some sort of peace and closure after this. God bless Griffin's family too.

Taxpayers lose again. Why is it that we foot the bill for housing the perpetrator of a crime? This person as well as all the other people in jail should be made to perform day long labor to work for food and housing. Put them all in chain gangs to grow food to feed themself and have them build things for profit. The profit being used to pay the guards. Need to think out of the box.

Do away with the prison library and all the benefits they have in jail and really give them a hard time. Let them fight among each other so they can bring down the prison population.

Do not try to rehab and waste taxpayers money.

Should charge the wife with perjury and misuse of apparel.

Another fine job by the Parole Board. Have to scrub those hands hard to get the blood off, don't you. Sixteen years in prison for a murder? What is wrong with this picture?

Good point - she should be next on trial and shipped out of town on the military's dime.

We have two predatory sociopath sickos locked up but deserve the death penalty. Guillotine would be more appropriate for them. Instead we taxpayers get to keep these monsters fed and alive and they get to see their families on prison visits. I hope Griffin and Lankford are cell mates. They are the perfect lovematch for each other. They can talk bible and be each others' boytoy. Faaaaaaaaabulous!

why did this guy get parole in the first place for murder?? Our state's judicial system is so liberal...He should've still been behind bars, and if he was, this other murder wouldn't have happened.

How come Griffin's wife is not prosecuted for her lies in court and actually maybe an accomplice. She should get the same punishment as Griffin. She lied for him even when she knew he committed murder, she is just as guilty.

The games not over with the conviction of Griffin, his wife is next. Until she is in prison serving the same sentence, the game is not over.

Yeah maybe we should put the parole board on trial for letting him go too soon, for a bad evaluation. The parole board should be questioned about their training tacktics. It seems as though they let the worst people go.
