Gangs in Hawaii

I don't know why this star-bulletin article is exaggerating the level of "gang" activity Oahu.

I don't see a problem with "gangs" in Hawaii. It's more so a problem that is related to poverty and a lack of good jobs.

Are you serious??? Do you know what kind of drug problem we have here in hawaii??? You think that here are no gangs, that is the same way the government feels and now it is showing it's ugle head again. More recently the cops contacted some guys with MS-13 ties here.
The recent murder/kidnapping of Ben Grajeda on Kaneohe Bay Dr. was drug/gang related. The trial is coming up next month.

Hawaii does have gangs. There are many, filipino, samoans, blacks, but not to the degree of our mainland counterparts. They are considered "baby" gangs, but they are still gangs. The gang population has gone down since the 80's, but they are still in existance. To say there are none would be silly. HPD has a gang unit that keeps track of gangs and its' members. Keeping them in-check has been very successful for HPD. Now alice, don't say that t-they are an inept bunch or what ever it is you say. They are doing a good job!

Easy way to solve the gang problem here: deport them. If people want to engage in gang activity, ship them right back to the philippines or micronesia or whatever sh*thole they came from.
Problem solved. Won't work for japs, haoles, etc, but most of them aren't in gangs anyway.
