We have been using steel cut oats for years. I boil 12 cups of water add 3 cups steel cut oats, lower heat and cook for 20 minutes. Portion it into 14 zip lock containers (not bags) and refrigerate. Lasts my husband and me for a week. Warm it for 2 minutes in bowels in microwave with 1/4 cup water, sprinkle 1 Tablespoon ground flax, Psyllium, 1/2 tea cinnamon, 1 tea. Honey. Mix, add fruit (pineapple, grapes and soy milk.
