Dargent/Hawaii50 (or whomever you may be), Bush earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1973, MBA standing for MASTERS of Business Administration. Not an easy degree to get from Hahvahd. America's "smartest" presidential candidate, Algore, flunked out of divinity school.
So for getting his MBA from "Hahvahd," he get's a pass on being AWOL?

I still haven't heard what kind of "common sense" Bush jr had. Must be something that requires a lot of research.

Point of fact - recently in some memos released by CBS, Mary Mapes, of the Dan Rather phony paper stunt, admitted that she new then Air National Guard member George Bush volunteered to go to VN. But was turned down due to not having enough flight time.
I'm not taking sides but going AWOL, which was never charged, can't be any worse than avoiding the draft (Bill Clinton), or having your Daddy get you a job in the French Embassy as an E-1(Ted Kennedy). I'll not even mention the traitorous John Kerry.
Bush is no longer the President, why can't you liberals get over it. You can't unring a bell, we all just have to learn to live with the reverberations. If the current administration has its way some of you are going to wish you had Bush back, warts and all.

Well, I don't think the story's over yet....

What's interesting about this Mapes episode is everyone is claiming that "she knew," yet there's nothing shown as documented proof of either what she knew, or of the volunteer claim.

What is factual is Bush checked "Do not volunteer."

And btw, I have yet to see anything reporting Mapes "...admitted that she new then Air National Guard member George Bush volunteered to go to VN..."

Take a look at this...
http://www.bernardgoldberg.com/bio/

"...He is also a media analyst for Fox News where he comments regularly on the state of the press and television news as well as on politics and culture for the network’s top rated program, The O’Reilly Factor."

But as I said, there seems to be no documented evidence of any of the claims. People are simply making claims. Case in point, there is a nameless "flight instructor," nameless "others," and even a "...a former, state-level Air Guard personnel officer..." No statements. No names. No verification. Just claims.

In addition, Dan Rather's suit against CBS has been reinstated with the fraud complaints back in.

And as I said, I can't find any "confessions" by Mapes on the matter.

You make a point of Bernie Goldbergs bona fides. He didn't make the claim, he got it from, to quote part of the article, "The outside panel CBS brought into to get to the bottom of the so-called “Rathergate” mess says." reported she knew, yet you insist on seeing her written 'confession'?
Fine with me. To paraphrase FOXNews, I just point you to the report, you decide.

Let me ask you this...

Have you seen and read the report from the CBS panel?

To be truthful, I didn't want to spend my time reading through 234, or more, pages of the report. If I ever get insomnia I'll give it a whirl. I did scan a few pages throughout, I'm sure I missed something that will give you ammo to refute, but I still think this is such old news and nothing to be concerned with. So why bother.
But, if you haven't read it either, then you can catch up at this link
http://wwwimage.cbsnews.com/htdocs/pdf/comple...
It is specific in that in numerous places it states, "Mapes said..." That would be good enough for me.

Obama got a Law Degree (Juris Doctor [J.D.]), graduating magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. He taught CONSTITUTIONAL law there for years and was the President of the Harvard Law Review.
Did you mean that Bush 'only' got a Masters from Hahvahd?
