On Oahu's North Shore a few years ago, wasn't there a young Japanese lady who went missing and who has never been found?

I remember on the tv news when it was announced that the suspect was from Kalihi, I was surprised when they showed a photo of a carrot top.

So much for old local prejudices about Kalihi.

I guess times have changed.

If she has any kind of body, she'll be beaten, raped and dumped. On the Big Island that's called a "date."
Living in Kailua Kona for almost three years now I've only heard rumors about how easy a person can disappear never to be found alive again. They talk about how most bodies end up in a huge lava tube on the other side of the island in Puna. Hilo, Keaau, Pahoa & Kapoho is a no man's land where it's the Wild, Wild West with no police virtually in sight. Most police are Asians who become snotty once you ask them for assistance like you're a bother. Having said all that I was also told don't rip someone off you may end up in the lava tube as your grave. Or tossed over a cliff into dangerous currents never to be found alive again as you're shark bait. While this is heart wrenching to hear these things it provides the true picture not known to tourists what life is really like living on the Big Island of Hawaii. Few murders are investigated as the bodies are disposed in a way that prevents any criminal charges without a body. Right now two men have been charged with murder of 44 year old Hawaiian Acres Dante Peter Gilman who's body hasn't been found just tons of blood showing a homicide took place.

<quoted text> Remember that cute blonde that disappeared a few years back, She was run over and raped by those brothers. then killed? I always felt that because she was white, the cops figured to let the locals slide. They damn sure didn't try to hard to catch the guys. I think they are still loose.
Are you speaking about the Dana Ireland murder you think it was a few years back from your post in 2011?

Wow You must be mistake that murder occurred in 1991 so that's 20 years later! Those local men are still in prison it took almost a decade for one witness he didn't rape or kill Dana. This witness was arrested for raping another woman so he cut a deal from 10 years in prison to 3 years for testifying about the two men. One man was from a prominent family so finally justice has been served.

In addition I bet you didn't know Ireland's parents sued EMS I think was pretty pathetic back in 1991 there was & still is NO phone service to call 911 so maybe they needed to sue the telephone company instead. The parents gained $450,000 from the death of their daughter not bad.

Back to the witness he was released from prison then recently was killed most likely from the families of the two inmates that raped & killed Dana Ireland. You want to know, now you. This is the REAL Hawaii. On the other side of Kona in Puna where there's tons of wanted fugitives & in Ocean View that's the type of scum that lives there even today.

Now another Japanese tourist was thrown off the cliff by a local. Most deaths go unsolved look up Dante Peter Gilman his murder was SOLVED because he had a video tape of the whole murder going down. His father worked for the HI Star Tribune was a critic of the HI police wrote Diamond Head also a movie telling how corrupt the police are in Hawaii.
Just on the Big Island of Hawaii tons of people disappear some are tossed into a lava rock others are dumped into the ocean as shark bait. These disappearances NEVER appear in the West Hawaii Today newspaper that only features good news like a soccer game etc. The reason is they don't want to scare off the tourists. Some say if you want to live in Hawaii don't piss anyone off because you'll keep seeing them over & over again never to escape you're on an island.
One website has a active list of all the disappearances just on the Big Island of Hawaii listed with the names every single one of them have NEVER been found.
Recently Dante Peter Gilman's body was found close to another body this one was a witness to the Dana Ireland murder back in 1991 so it only took the families I guessing of the men in prison to seek revenge for turning state's witness against them. If you plan on being a witness be prepared to LEAVE Hawaii don't stay they'll hunt you down even 20 years later! This is the REAL Hawaii most tourists don't see. Some times never change!

Yeah, it was Dana Ireland. Beautiful young blonde run over, raped and tortured by a couple of local thugs. There are so many it's hard to keep them in order or timeline. Hawaii needs the death penalty, especially if the victim is a pretty blonde female because the thugs prefer them to rape, torture and kill.

On Oahu it's the pig farm. There is supposedly a manure pit where the bodies are thrown. The lava tubes I've heard of, but what is it? Is it molten lave where you can just dump a body anytime you please? In the age of DNA evidence and cameras I'd think they'ed be able to catch someone if they really wanted to.

High cliffs, many lonely dirt roads, lots of pastures and coffee land, choke pakalolo patches not to be intruded upon, plenty "Uncles" with boats--The Big Island is really, really big, too.
It's a place where minding your own business and staying in the "tourist" spots is a smart thing to do.
"Da Boyz" don't play.
