Since when are surfer experts on the removal of sand that it would make the waves smaller. or bigger.I love Hawai'i more then anything, but you people need to quite bitching about ever little thing. I am glad I was able to ride the Super ferry before you all shut it down. The Hawaiians first mistake was not to Kill Capt Cook when he landed in the Islands.
Your comment brings up a tourist joke(also Perry&Price). On which visit did the natives kill Cook? First, second,or third. SF went Aloha because of competing businesses(airlines, rent a car,Young brothers) Enviromentalist(transplanted Haoles), and tree huggers'(mailand construction hippy surfers). Hey this goes back to the Cook tourist joke doesn't it? The crazy thing about this elimination of the SF is that they needed the business of loacals(Oahu) visiting other islands when the recession hit. But some of these groups added insults to the mix saying Oahus homeless and drug dealers would come by the Ferry to their pristine islands.(like they don't have homeless or drug problems) Also Honolulu would bring those big city, uncaring, demanding people and change the flavor of Maui or Kauai. Haha the biggest complainers were themselves transplanted people from big cities on the mainland. This is 1 crazy world isn't it? Talk about pointing fingers when standing in front of a mirror.

why are these hotels allowed to build literally in the water. Let mother nature do its thing.

taxpayers shouldnt be paying for stupid people that build hotels in the high tide zone.
