In the 80's Kailua had a place called the crow bar. I can't remember the street but I think across the block was Fast Eddies a night club. Is this right at all? I looked on Google Earth and nothing looks familiar anymore and that's just 25 yrs. ago.

We lived on Ilimano Street from 1958 to July of 1962. I think there were two separate crashes in our neighborhood during that time. One plane hit houses. The other plane hit the empty schoolyard and parking lot.

I was right across from Fast Eddies.

I used to hang out there some times in the early 80's.

I used to work at the CrowBar back in 84-85. It was on Hoolai Street where Boston's Pizza is now. Fast Eddies was around the corner where Walgreen's is now. Kailua has really changed and is even changing more and more these days. I have fond memories working at the CrowBar with Boo and Myra. Those were the days!

Anyone remember the july 4th fireworks in the 60's, entire town was blowing off everything from twinklers to rockets, red paper everywhere the next morning, streets covered. Would go out and find unexploded fire crackers. And the DDT mosquito trucks, riding our bikes behind them in the clouds of poison.
