It's called Obamanomics and the failed taxmongering policies of this corrupt 50-year Democrat regime.

Governor Lingle ended the gas cap law that protected Hawaii residents from the price gouging we are getting from the oil companies. On May 5, 2006, Governor Lingle signed a bill that suspended the State's Gas Cap Law. ACT 78.

Write your Legislator and Governor Abercrombie to demand that they re-instate ACT 78!!!

BTW - When you consider the Senate seat being vacated by the honorable Daniel Akaka next year, consider that Lingle, who is running to replace him, not only instituted Furlough Fridays for our school children, tried to shut down DHS assistance offices on the neighbor islands to make it harder for hard hit islanders to get food stamp & welfare assistance, and suspended Act 78 which has let the GOP's Oil Industry campaign contributors gouge us at the pump!!!

Dan aKAKA is a do nothing, seat warmin, pencil pushing Democrat that hasn't accomplished anything significant in all the years he's hogged the seat. All he's done was to try a trillion times to push through his illegal, unconstitutional racist bill that failed miserably even while you people had the majority in Congress in '06. Buhbye Dan time to go string some leis under the coconut tree. LOL!

So what? Abercrombie is the worst governor in the nation. He's being sued by the teacher's union because he's cutting their pay, implementing more furloughs, increasing their health insurance preminums. See what happens when you vote for an arrogant haole instead of a cool local bruddah? hahaha

Eat this!

Hawaii's gas price controls, imposed last fall when the cost of fuel was hovering around $3 a gallon in many parts of the U.S., have actually triggered much higher costs for consumers.

http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Hawaii_legislatur...

After the cap was imposed, the volatility of Hawai'i gas prices increased ten-fold. During that time period that Hawai'i prices traversed a 75-cent range, the national average moved within a 44-cent range.

http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/200...

Now apologize to the sheeples for lying...the rest of us smart people know better.

Come Cali. Our prices for gas are just as high. I would vote for Lingle. The Dems do nothing. Abercrombie is the butt of jokes in America. Keep having a one parry system. Hawaii will get nothing. Obama will not be re elected. Lost the mid west votes. Hawaii will get no kala since you have no Republicans. SAD.

She ended it so the GOP's Big Oil campaign contributors can jack up the prices for gas for us Island folk. It's got nothing to do Obama and everything to do with the Big Oil companies who have been charging us 75 cents to 1 dollar more per gallon than the mainland! When asked why our prices are higher than the mainland, Chevron & Tesoro replied that they are now buying our Oil somewhere else that is more expensivve than where the U.S. mainland is buying their Oil for gas, so suck it Hawaii folk! If Lingle hadn't killed Act 78, gas prices would've been capped and based on what the mainland pays. Like a Drug dealer, Chevron & Tesoro know that they have a captive addicted market and are jacking the price accordingly to try and beat last quarter's record profit!

Before the gas cap law, Hawaii paid an average of 44 cents more per gallon than the rest of the mainland. Since the law went into effect in September, however, the differential has increased to more than 50 cents per gallon.

Nice try at trying to shift the conversation to bash Abercrombie to avoid looking at the devastating effect the Lingle Administration had on the Hawaii economy! Furlough Friday's! Refusing to stand up to the unions! Signing a contract with the HSTA giving them a fat payraise in exchange for agreeing to random drug testing! Then RINO Lingle backs down from the ACLU & HSTA when they complain about privacy & the legality of the drug testing. Did Lingle stand up to the HSTA and take back their payraise for breach of contract: NO! She pulled a Pawlenty! Abercrombie, a Democrat (a fracking Democrat) had the cohones to stand up to the HSTA and say take the State's last best and final offer. That's why Abercrombie's approval numbers are so low! Neil's realized that the State Government has gotten too big and labor costs got out of control after eight looong years of Linda Lingle! He can't capitulate to the unions like Lingle did and keep growing the size of Government. He's had the guts to take a hard line against the union, his political base. I thought the GOP hated Unions. The fact that the HSTA is suing Abercrombie because they're pissed at him speaks volumes about Neil being a better Republican than Lingle was!

BTW - I thought you said you knew your shyt! Like most GOP mountebanks, if bullshyt was a brass band, your posts would be all the music!

This Infidel nutjob quotes World Nut Daily propaganda sources! As this right wing Koch sponsored spammer, we should expect as much. Apparently Infidel's master's don't like the idea of Act 78, the gas cap law being talked about, so they've applied pressure to Infidel and his fellow corporate GOP sheepie to quell any discussion of re-instituing the gas cap law! Hawaii gas prices remain at least 75 cents higher than the mainland! 50 cents higher would be an improvement!

So what is Dan Akaka is he a local bradda or not? I'm guessing you think Linda Lingle is a local sista? What do you and Lingle have in common besides being a Republican? You both have alternate lifestyles and you love that hershey highway don't ya AI. So lets sum up your above comment. You want us to pick and local bradda just as long as he is a Republican, but if he is a liberal then you want us to pick a haole wahine that is mahu like you.
