You should consult the press...they love to print crimes of people from Waianae, they also love to 'forget' that most of the crime in Hawaii happens downtown (Honolulu/Kalihi)...it's just so much better to point the finger in the other direction and to take everyones' thoughts off of the real crime areas...oh, thats right, if you print the truth...it may hurt Hawaii's economy...boo-hoo...after all isn't Honolulu near Waikiki which is where Hawaii's tourist industry is? HAHAHA!!!!

BTW...what this man did is appalling! Story sound alot like a domestic abuse case since the news article states that Kamaka was "sexually assaulting and beating the children for the past five to six years." Plus Kamaka told the kids that he would hurt their mother. It's terrible and sad.

in response to Joe...why am I not surprised at the ignorance? Have you done research on this person? Just because he resided in Waianae at the time of the incident doesnt mean that his actions reflect on the community as a whole.Ever thought, hmmm maybe this dude came from... Texas, for instance,.. & he maybe had been living in Waianae for,...I dunno... less than a year...& that the problem had been recognized while he was in Texas but noone did anything about it. Thats a stereo-typical opinion. It would be like me saying that everyone from Texas are cowboys and that they all were boots & ride horses...besides,majority of the crimes that occur in Waianae usually involve parties from other "neighborhoods" and more often by people who arent from Waianae. Oddly enough the crimes that do involve people from Waianae tend to occur away from home...I have lived here all my life & am proud of the fact that the majority of my community/peers are living proof that stereo-types are just heresy.
