The uncontrolled spending started with 9/11. And it hasn't stopped yet. And it won't for the forseeable future.

I hope you are not confusing me with a Liberal??? I was being ENTIRELY sarcastic!! I definitely did not vote for this Socialist/Commie President. I saw through his lies and extreme Liberak ideas as soon as he became a serious Presidential candidate. I definitely did not want to vote for McCain, but I was left with choosing the lesser of two evils. I say check out the Constitution Party and let's see if it is a worthy cause to get rid of the two party ridiculousness.( theconstitutionparty.com ) Why didn't Fred come out swinging?!
You are aware of what socialism and communism are? If you are not informed, "informed", get informed. If you are informd, why do you use such terms for what's happening?

It's not socialism that has brought us here? Nor was it in 1929. Bone up on your terminology, economics, and history.

Try to be truly informed, not just led by the ideological nose.

NOt at all. I absolutely do not get "led around" by ideologies. I actually do research and read many things from many points of view and then make up my mind or opinion....don't want you accusing me of not knowing what the definition of words and how to use them.

Communism (a theory from Karl Marx) is about creating a classless society (classless meaning no striations or rich vs poor); sharing of all products of labor etc. I took a sociology course awhile ago adn that is where I came to my opinion...thanks for your insults anyway! Obama's (and Liberals and Dems) incessant incitement of class warfare...rich should not be rich and that we should "share" (read as redistribute) the products (read as wages earned by those that make plenty of money).(He might not be a Lenin.....yet)

Socialism: Although there are many different types of socialism, the one I appoint President Obama is his stance on equitable share of goods to each member of society REGARDLESS if they worked for them or not. It is NOT the govt's responsibilty to pay for citizen's fundamental/physiological needs, it is their responsibility or let's continue to look at the private sector. You know those greedy Christians who donate time and monies to charitable orgs? Yeah those people.(I know there are others, but Christians always bear the brunt of ugliness and judgements from the "tolerant" progressives.)

Although the two pretty much go hand in hand (one is a little more extreme than the other) President Obama's ideologies/beliefs/values lie in those tenets.

If you still think I do not understand, I'll let my Liberal Sociology professor know on your behalf.

I'm sorry, but where did Obama say the rich should not be rich? I don't remember that, but I may have missed something.

Regarding the redistribution of wealth, in which administration did you not pay taxes? If you aren't paying taxes, then you are not sharing, is that correct? But I am and so are many, and have been for a long time. You make no point here.

Your definition of socialism isn't the norm, but it's your right to hold to it. However, I believe it is when the state holds the means of production. Where do we do that?

You have blinders on, Informed, and I accept that, but I don't believe one should continue to live blind.

Communism is when the states or gov't hold the products and or wealth through a centralized means. You can look through any up-to-date Sociology book and you will see there are many different types of socialism but the one I defined IS the norm....sorry!(there's Christian and some I have never heard of, but...).

Your point on paying taxes, not sure where you got that from; but my rebuttal to that is, Obama is giving monies to people who DO NOT pay taxes in the form of "stimulus checks". I didn't like ti when Bush did it either and criticized him for it too. If you DO NOT pay taxes, then you should NOT get a stimulus check. What did they contribute? NOTHING!!!

Obama never out and out said rich shouldn't be rich, but his class warfare incitement by making the rich pay for everything (in the form of taxes, because let's be real, the smallest percentage of people pay the most in taxes) AND trying to demonize rich folks about having so much money in his policies and his basic ideologies.

I do not have blinders on and "continue to live" with them on and if you can point out what makes me blind, let's debate it. Is it because I disagree with you? Is it because I do infact "inform" myself and am educated and come to my own opinions all by self and not some ideologic line-tower? NOt following. I find it ironic that most on the Left have a very hard time with people who formulate their own opinions AND disagree with what they believe, yet tout tolerance all the while. Let's debate, I am up for it!
