Yeah, if not for America, Israel would not exist! Besides, Israel is NOT number one, for China could wipe them out anytime it wishes so and will probably do it if the Israelis threaten them enough!
Good, they took that eyesore out, religious artifacts do not belong with the State of affairs, God is a false BS and only for the weak and lazy ones who refuse to think for themselves!

Hawaii would be Japanese if it weren't for America, sad enough, most Americans don't believe in anything anymore, bunch of weak minded pathetic waist of human life, America could be the country it used to be if it weren't for soft useless people, I bet most unreligeous people wouldn't mind seeing the great pyramids of Giza, or roman ruins in Europe, they wouldn't pass the opportunity to see religious monuments of the past pagan religions. What's the difference of a cross going up and staying up, I don't care what religion you are, all I know is people in my Great country are way to sensitive! Put some vagisil in your vagina and go to hell or whatever place you believe in when you sensitive people do us a favor and leave this earth.

This Country was built on Christianity and we can all see the results that taking out any Christian references has done to the US. I'm not saying this is the only reason. But it's one of many. That cross has been at the Koli Koli Pass for a long time. It gives some a sense of peace and comfort seeing it there. The Government can't make everyone happy. But at least the majority! This is happening in a lot of places. We are stripping away our history. I think it's sad AND disturbing. If it offends you, then don't look! Same as music or movies that some may find offensive. Freedom of expression. Why is it that Christians are not allowed to express themselves? You are going to find people everywhere that may take offense to anything. Enough of the Political Correctness!!! It's a bunch of CRAP!

I and a small group of fellow soldiers rebuilt the crass around 1987 I was proud of what we did it was. A monument to the Japanese attack what a sad thing to find out it was dismantled

As a Christian, I'm not offended by other religious symbols. It's OK with me for temples, statues and mosques to be built since they are powerless works of ignorance. They pose no threat to my faith. The worst a pagan can do is kill people and our bodies doesn't last forever anyway. The cross however, is a reminder of what is real and of course it it offends some. Even a complete fool can recognize real power and be afraid.

Actually, it would probably have been Russian as the Russians would have loved to have a warm water port. Fortunately, they were to mired down fighting the Japanese (and getting whooped). When people find fault in history, they conveniently tend to leave out all the different things that are occurring at that point in time so they can make their own conclusions sound justified. Of course, maybe it is time to return Hawaii to the real Hawaiians (100%, not halves or less that only call themselves Hawaiian.) Remove all the improvements that the "invaders" have made over the last 3 centuries and allow the "natives" to return to fighting amongst themselves and raiding each other for fun/prestige. May the strongest survive. Some may think that will be paradise, but the rest of us enjoy the finer things that been passed to us through America's heritage and advances that were only possible due to the freedoms that haven't been relinquished to the government and others that feel a need to control/dominate others.

Next war, conscript all members of the ACLU first, and all sons and daughters of members of congress second, and all the kids and grand kids of the old 60's draft dodgers, and give them all the same assignment...infantry.
