HPD corruption. Why is it that HPD never catches the crooks within they own department? You notice that it is always the Feds who catch them and make the case. Over 50 years has seen the corruption in HPD unabated. Obviously the corruption must go all the way to the top or how would they stop investigations or not even begin. Orders come from the top. Chief Correia, are you one of them or are you going to investigate and throw the crooked cops in prison? If you refuse to investigate obviously you are with them. Which is it?

The "rat" will have to hide when he gets out of prison. Turning witness against his own uncle is "NUTS". He will have to look over his shoulder the rest of his life and hope that no harm comes to him. This is a small island. Should have pleaded guilty and kept quiet . Now he will suffer more than if he did not take the deal.

Good luck to the "rat"

HPD has been corrupt for at least 70 years and is one of the most corrupt police departments in the U.S. Why is it the Chief cannot or won't do anything? Is the corruption so bad that even the Chief cannot do anything. I've heard that the FBI cannot do anything either because leaks in HPD let the crooks know when an investigation is on. Very sad for the few honest cops.

Good! Them crooked cops stole 30 grand from my friend at the Waialua cockfight, and threatened that he wouldn't make it home if he didn't pay up. SOB's should be buried in the jungle up to their corrupt necks and let the ants have em.
