This is not a racial matter hon. It is a question or morals and intelligence.

why didn't somebody do something about it brother?
the two innocent people that died would not have been in that car at all if someone had done something to keep him off the roads.
you had all of the signs.
who's next in Hawaii? you may want to knock some sense into them first.
You can't be serious about the question you asked of his brother. Many people aren't able to control their under aged kids let alone a grown man. It's all about taking responsibility for one's actions, and in this case, reckless behavior finally took its toll.

Would you have made the same quote had he been a hawaiian? Some of them are "dumb" as well.

So, Tim York says the driver was a responsible guy eh? The only thing he was responsible for was his and the deaths of two others!!!

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. At this point, I'm even in favor of bringing back the van cams.

I agree. Either that or higher punishment for excess speeding like suspension of your license for one year.

I drive on Hickam Air Force Base all the time. No one speeds. No one goes over the posted speed limit. As soon as you drive off base all the cars that were going speed limit on base speed up over the speed limit. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the punishment on base is enough to keep from speeding.

six speeding violations,, how much was his auto insurance,, or maybe no auto insurance; cost too much or no auto insurance company would insure him.
Maybe the state is in trouble for not revoking his driver's license for "collecting" so many speeding violations,,, how many lawyers thinking $$$.

It doesn't matter what nationality he is. It's a matter of what happen. Don't be so mean.

Illogical, Makau. If he's part Haole and part Hawaiian, and Hawaiians generally aren't known for their speed, that only leaves stupidity...hmmm.

I was a nephew of James and some of the comments on this board are just idiotic, especially the racist ones. No one here knows exactly, including me,what the circumstances were yet almost everyone has no problem trashing him because of six speeding tickets in five years.Yet, his good friends trusted him enough to actually ride in the car with him. You know, people who actually knew him enough that they didn't have a problem riding with him. It's real easy to make stupid and ugly comments when it isn't someone you know. Instead of pointing fingers and placing the blame why don't you just pray for those who were killed and their family members, or just keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

I wonder if the driver got his "friends" consent to increase his speed to 100 miles.......maybe they all agreed it would be an experience of a lifetime.

Six speeding tickets including one where he was going 110 in a 55. Yeah, stand up guy. Hard to figure out what happened here. SUCH A GREAT GUY. SUCH A SAINT. A BOO HOO HOO.
6 previous speeding tickets means nothing here! not like he murdered people by speeding! see how great of a guy he was. ps. im his nephew and am so selfish that i only care about how people remember this murderer.
