Larry was a great guy and treated the kids with respect,, Better then I can say for most people in Canal Fulton. He was an awesome coach and knew a lot about the game of baseball , I hope the best for Larry and his Family.

Better a gang member than a child molester or do they only teach in schools? Besides if you pay attention most criminals bilk us in big business and government or have you not been paying that close of attention?

Listen up........It has happened in the past in this country to blacks and women. It is happening now to Bikers. Aha you say, but that is the Mongols, that is not us. Well you may be next.

"In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then ... they came for me ... And by that time there was no one left to speak up."

"First they came…" is a poem attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

Better wake up!

Larry constantly ripped little kids behind their backs. He knew very little about baseball. He liked to impress parents who were desparate to have their kids on a "travel" team. Shame on the parents who knew of other mis-deeds by him and still turned their heads to stay involved.

More parents are concerned with whats going to happen to the travel team than their childs safety. At any time someone looking for Larry could have rolled up and killed him in front of your kids. Your child and you could also have been killed in the process. Shame on you for defending this trash.

My kid played pee wee football with larry's boy. I rode Harley's with Larry and had beers with him occasionally. This is not the Larry I knew, the Larry I knew loved his wife and kids, looked out for his families future and was a decent man.
I am still in shock over this!
I wish the best for his family, may God look after them in the future.

Dear Wisdom:

I am just curious to know if you knew Larry personally or just what you have read in the news and knew of him? How dare you call someone trash because of what you read in the newspapers or saw on the news? I personally knew Larry and he was and is not only a great father to his kids, but also to the other kids that he coached. You have no right to call someone such a thing. Shame on you for judging someone with such negativity. I wish the best for Larry and his family. He is a great man and a friend.

P.S. Wisdom, don't be so quick to judge someone because you never know, one day you might find yourself in his shoes.

Ahhh...Wisdom...define such a word???...Wisdom of what? Judging people? Didn't your mother ever teach you to not believe everything that you see or read????..Just because he is being held in California doesn't make him a bad father or person. You only know what you read in the papers and what the media wants you to know. The only one who has a right to judge anyone is the almighty above. And have you read the bible lately? If not maybe you should have a refresher course in it. All sins are forgiven.

Haven't you noticed the "Judge It!" tab on every comment. We all get to be judges.

I know Larry personally and I have read every newspaper article and the indictment completely.
Unfortunately, I was not really in shock when I learned of all of this. I wish I could say I was. I have witnessed Larry in action with all of his different coaching experiences and i am not impressed. If you truly witnessed him as a coach, you would NOT want your child involved with him. I wish no harm on his family and I truly feel for his children. They are innocent in all of this and unfortunately, they are victims of their father's actions. No one is to blame except for Larry.

Gavel...as i said previously, the only one who has the right to judge is the one above. No wonder society is the way it is today. All of the uppety ups who think they are are better than everyone else and perfect in this world is because they judge everyone and think they are better than everyone else. You and everyone else on here who feels they have the right to call him trash are no better than he is. May not be the same senario, I would bet everyone on here has their own little secret tucked away back in their closet that they don't want anyone to know.

I don't feel anyone here has been "judging" Simply stating their opinions.
"Standing By in Wadsworth" - per the indictment, distribution of meth, obtaining automatic firearms, conspiring to commit murder, these are NOT secrets I have in my closet. And I hope I never meet anyone else in my life who does.(and just another quick note, someone with these secrets should NEVER be around other's children)

Yes, everyone has a right to an opinion, however things that everyone on here have said about larry are not opinions. Calling someone trash is not an opinion. You have all judged him because of what the media says. And actually if you have read the inditement, then you would know that larry's name has only been mentioned a couple of times. And everytime it has been mentioned, it involved a phone call that was made to someone else. It did not involve drugs or firearms, and not to mention the you only know what the media wants you to know. Oh, and any involvement that the media is saything that he was in, was not around anyones children.

Twice on his trips to Florida he had another kid with him and his family. One of those being when the ATF was raiding his house. Was he only a lawbreaking Mongol during select hours? By the way...how about the NAZI(white supremicist) tattoos on his arms? I bet a black family would have loved to have him as a coach for their son.
He chose this life , he didnt fall into the "wrong crowd"

You think he is the only one to have those kind of symbols and tattoos? And do you think he is the only one who is prejudice in this world? Ha come on now....there are millions of people in this world who are prejudice and I'm sure you know a friend or two who is or who chooses to not let you know about it. And obviously if you know those kinds of personal details about him and what he is doing with his family you must of obviously knew him pretty well. Ya he did choose his life and he also chose not to bring it around his family or yours. What he did in his spare time that didn't involve anyones children is his choice. It may not make it right what he did, but its not fair to call him trash or judge him.

No I dont think he is the only one with those NAZI tattoos...most of those people are in prison.
If someone is so prejudice that they need to print it on their skin for life...well that person may not be the best choice for coach. Maybe you feel the way he does so we'll let that slide. What do you mean he didnt bring it around his family? The ATF raided his house for Gods sake.Dont his kids and wife live there too?
O.K. I will quit judging him. We are clearly at two polar ends of how we feel about this situation. continued.....
