I was at the pow wow! Attended everyday clear up until the end. There was alot of people that came to support this years event but i was shocked to see who the winners were. The people that come to support our event should be treated fairly. However there were obviously a few calculations that were incorrect. U do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure who the best dancers were. There were a few that i know of that did not even place. I think that if this event is going to be a get better and better we have to pick a variety of judges not just our own! THis is unfair. People that come a great distance are going to go back home and give us a bad report telling there friends and families. Pretty soon they will be discouraging people from coming by saying that "we only pick our own". If you want to give something to someone, and honor them thats fine. But dont do it in the form of contest if its not going to be fair.
