I have a friend that is 29 years old, lives with their grandparent, does not have a car, and is never on time for work, will go into work hungover, BUT is drinking at a bar every single night of their life.

When is enough, enough? When is one too old for going to clubs and bars every night.

Most people outgrow it. I know for me it just stopped being fun around 28/29/30. If its still fun for her then f it. Let her do her thing. Once you hit 30 you get tired of the noise, the dirty bathrooms, the sleezeballs, the drunk drives home, the $4 beers, the hangovers, the smell of your clothes the next day, the smell of your hair the next day, the bar sluts, the tough guys, the lame bands, the empty wallets the next morning, the lost cell phones, the drunk pics that turn up on fb, sticky floors, and waking up next to random people who looked way better the night before.

I don't think it has as much to do with age as it does with priorities in this case. If they had their priorities in order, they would be more worried about getting everything else in order then worry about their party life. Imo

No one should be in the club or bar EVERYNIGHT unless they're getting a check from it.

Sounds like your friend has more of a DRINKING problem then a going to the clubs/bars every night kind of a problem. 29 is way too old to be acting this irresponsible. I think the gparents should kick them out or they get their life together get clean and become a responsible adult.Yeesh.

Too old is when you're married with children. I was 28 when I started partying hard. I mean like 2-3 nights a week. I'm backwards like that. However that got old quick. The person I was hanging with at the time was going harder than me. She's a couple years older and she's married with children.

I don't won't anyone to be like my 50+ uncle though. I ran into him at the club one night. He saw me before I saw him and had the nerve to say "Don't walk pass me like you don't know who I am." So I speak and give him a hug cause he's my uncle. All the while I'm asking him why was he there? Shouldn't he be getting ready for Sunday School or something? Anywho I go about my business and later on I run into him again. This time he gonna say "Peaches why won't none of these girls talk to me?" I said "I think you're too old for them" and went on about my business.

Once you hit 25 that should be it. I stopped going to clubs at around 21- and I didn't go that much to begin with. It was a college thing for me. After a while I felt like, what is the point of this? Sweating out my hair and smelling like smoke just to dance and be around people I thought were (generally) low level.

Unless you work in the club, no one should be there everynight. Get a life and broaden your horizons.

Hitting a club or bar twice a week is ok, if you single, under 25 y/o and childless, but after that, it's time to grow up and settle down.

You know what, I started going to the 21 and over club when I was 17. When I was about 20, my girls and I were laughing at these girls who we knew were about 25-26, like those bishes know they are too old to be up in the club with us every week. Now they seem young. The moral to this Aesopian fable is that it depends almost entirely on how old the person doing the judging is.

OP I think that bars and clubs should be separated. I think older women /men who are single can continue to go to nice bars every now and then...not so much if you're married because I don't know if that's really a nice date place but.

Clubs, like full on dancing, lights, foam and shit getting wasted, should stop at 25. 29 if you can hide your age/find clubs that lean older.

Cause he's probably looking for strange. No married man needs to be at the club without his wife and if he is, he should bring his ass home when the club closes. Not hours after its closed. Don't be dumb. Open your eyes.
You can't just assume he's cheating on me! Not every married man cheats!
