Nope! I don't really know anything about him. I am needing some computer work done and I had heard about him through some mutual friends. Thought I would throw this out here and see what people have to say.

I have friends who have used Chris Melton and were satisfied, said he is smart. Personally I use Don Brantley at Connecting Point in Monroe. Just depends on what you need. I imagine Chris would do fine and stand by his work, he has been in that location well over a year.

Can't go wrong with Connecting Point in Monroe on walkup Ave. bought my first computer from Don in 1993 give or take a year. I have bought five others since then and he does all my repair work when needed.

I use Microhound on 74 near Mayberry. I got a reconditioned laptop there for $350 that is better-faster-more memory than my friends $1,000 one. They service everything and the prices are fair.

Pc-Tech has now moved to the old Marshville Police Dept on the corner of 74 and Elm St.. We stopped in during the boll weevil festival and found that he has hired on two people and is now a Windstream Rep. He is also Microsoft certified,an engineering degree and a bunch of stuff I could not begin to understand. He has been in Marshville for 6 years now and I have used him for 5. I own small business in Marshville and I would not let anybody else touch our computers at our office or home. He has been fast to the point and will always have a lower rate than anybody else you will find between Wadesboro and Charolette.

I recently used Chris for computer work and was glad we had someone in Marshville that did PC work . He went above and beyond on doing my work and gave me alot of advice . His prices were reasonable and I would reccommend him to anyone and have since he did my PC repair. I like to try to do as much business as I can in the Marshville area since I live here . Try Chris for any work I don't think you will be disappointed , he is really a great person.

Hello Chris, I bought my Dell Demension 2400 desktop used from an outfit in Matthews. Last year I had it upgraded and more memory added by a company in Monroe. My antivirus was about to expire so they uninstalled it and installed one of the free versions (AVG). I've used it about a year with no problems. I like it but I keep getting notices that it will expire soon and I will lose coverage unless I ante up $39.99.

In the meantime my wife bought a used laptop that came with another free antivirus program (avast) that we both like better than the one I have on the desktop.

I think what I want you to do is remove the program on the desktop and replace it with the antivirus my wife has. What do you think of that or should I go ahead and pay for what I've got? Is the one on my wife's computer better? Sooner or later we know she will have to pay to renew it too!

Looking forward to reading your opinion.
