A Lucedale teen's murder trial began Tuesday morning in George County . Deon McCants is charged with the 2008 murders of Meleah Griffith and Dominique Johnson.

I Believe That The Investigation Was Not Done Correctly. There Is No Other Explination To Why The Evidence Is Not There. Defense Attorney Calvin Taylor Needs A Wake Up Call If You Know What I Mean. He Should Know That 3 People Are Dead Due To The Fact That One Of The Two Or Both Young Men On Trial Committed. Only A Few And GOD Knows Exactly What Happened That Sunday. When I Got The Phone Call That Night I Couldn't Think Straight Because I Had Just Left From Down There Like 2 Or 3 Months Before And I Saw Him. I was gonna say...WTF is that about? Whoever believes the "cops" suck can kiss my ass! My partner and I arrested CJ Street for a different violation AFTER he had been released from Regional Jail on the murder charge. I figured he was out on bond, so I called the SO and checked--they couldn't find anything on him. So apparently the murder charges were dismissed against Street sometime before we re-arrested him. Guess what he was doing when we arrested him? Threatening to call his "boys" to come shoot the place up where he was at. What a piece of shit.

And as for his father, when my charges against him went to court, CJ's father plead with the judge to have the fines dropped because he was "poor and couldn;t afford to pay them." Well, WTF bonehead? Your POS son is 18...that's old enough to quit slinging dope and get a fucking job to pay his own fines. I damn sure wouldn't be paying my son's fines if he screwed up.

I don;t understand why the murder conspiracy charges were dropped against Street. Can anyone 'splain me please? And sorry for the profanity, but I'm tired of being shot at, working overtime, and busting my ass in general, just to have the dregs of society walk free.

I dont know CJ personally, that wasnt my job....but i do know that arrogent piece of human filth more-then likley had something to do with it and deon is taking much of the punishment...having work around convicted felons for so many years, along with those booked in on offenses you begin to have this instinct......this knack of knowing who to believe and whom not to....deon is not a cold blooded murderer.....thats not to say that he didn' klll them....but he definitly had help from a piece of trash.

all thugs! they can't behave and do what they should be a productive citizen work and pay taxes like the rest of us. Has anyone realized how many young people between the ages of 20 & 35 do not work?
