Ok mo jack in Baton Rouge, LA first I've never drank a beer in my life! cant stand the smell of it! Not saying anything bad about people who do,just dont like it myself. Never been arrested and as of 50 plus years havent had a ticket(yet). So unless you are his wife or a close family member(which even family members dont know everything about other family members) you might want to bend over real far and stick YOUR head up your but, because i know some of the people from the poker games that bragged about where he got the alcohol(not just beer) from. And does family members attend these conferences these guys all go to? Just when you think everythign is hid even your so called best friends will TALK. Dont believe that is too HONEST.

The fact was, he kept his family problems out of his business. And he was actually charged for what happened up there in Biloxi, not here. He supposedly threatened a guy he claimed lied on him and then committed perjury by giving a different testimony than the year before. Could have been an honest mistake. Either way, Tony could not have known anything about it.

Right now, I am very pleased with the entire Sheriff's Department. This is obviously a result in the current Leadership, Sheriff Garry Welford and Chief Deputy John Keel

I believe that John Keel will continue the progress of the counties Law Enforcement. Maintain a highly professional force.

Go to the Sheriff's Office, attend Circuit Court, Justice Court or any other event where the George County Sheriff's Deputies are working, see how the Professionals are dealing with folks, fairly and honestly. See for yourself the problems that are presented to them each day. This is a direct reflection of the Sheriff and John Keel's Leadership.

John Keel has my vote and support to be the next Sheriff. We still have to see if Garry Welford is running again or not.
I hope that the voter turnout is a record turnout, fair and honest (Keep Acorn or any other organization like it out of George County)
