New Rule: Stop saying that teenage boys who have sex with their hot, blonde teachers are permanently damaged. I have a better description for these kids:'Lucky bastards.'

The kid is going to be just fine. When I was that age every 15 year old boy I knew was having sex or trying to. What I can't figure out is how a 33 year old woman would even be attracted to a 15 year old boy. Is she some kind of control freak?

as a teacher like she called herself, she should have known better, but didn't. she is a poor excuse for even being called a teacher. i know the family very well, and feel sorry for what they are going through. crystal obviously needed help ALONG time ago! can't believe that none of her school worker's around her didn't spot something before it happened ! we do live in a small community where everyone know's everyone's business! i also work in a school and am surrounded by children. my first priority is for the children, not myself ! crystal will hopefully pay for her stupidness !!

Thank you CaRe BeAr, what is wrong with saoirse....and as to saoirse you need to read what i posted...I did not say it was ok for an adult to "fook" a child....all I said was they were both consenting...So before you go making assumptions as to who is a "dirt bag" and "anal swab" you need to read the posts clearly and get a life and for your comment as to north country inbreeding....where are you really from??? let me think sounds more like west virginia where your uncle is probably your father too.....I really think some of you on here need to find something better to do with your time, like get a job you probably sit home doing nothing and we working people pay for your welfare check.

I'm not a fan of saoirse, in fact I'm from Massena (live in Albany as you can tell from my IP location) so I'm fairly offended by his last comments about my hometown, lol, however in a lot of his posts he makes sense. Not just here but about other topics as well. I've come to look forward to what he has to say because underneath his (or her) insults, he makes sense.

Frankly, I enjoy busting on the horrible grammar of some of the posters on these boards. It's embarassing. Do you really think 'hot sexy teacher' is a teacher with that spelling? It's almost entertainment. But I digress...

Back to saoirse's point - A 15 year old cannot agree to sex according to the law. In fact, law aside, a 15 year old brain isn't 'done' yet. They have no foresight for consequences. Do they know they can get pregnant or contract an STD? Sure - but do they know they can destroy someone's life, including their own? No. Because "it can't happen to me".

WOW!!!!! I am a former high school class mate of Christel. When I heard the news of what happened, I was shocked!!!!! Granted, i heve not lived there in the past 15 years, but i remember her as a wonderfull person. What she did is wrong. She admitted to it and it seems that she is willing to be held accountable for her action's. All these negative posts are just as bad as the crime that she committed. Remember that she has children that will probably read all of these post's. What is done is done and my prayer's go out to her family. As for the beauty queen comment's.... it is obvoiuse that stress and alchohol have taken thier toll on her. I remember her as a beautiful person (physically and emotionally) hell, i still have a senior picture that we took together in my house in South Carolina. As for the derogatory comments about the North Country, yes we are backwards in a lot of aspects.... But can you go away from home for a week and not lock your doors???? Can you boast that there has not beem a murder or any violent capitol crime in the past decade???? That area is still one of the best places to raise a family. If i were not still in the military i would move back there in an instant!!!!!

I just happened upon this page while looking for a reporter to contact, and frankly, there are a number of things in these posts that disturb me greatly.
One, I am not condoning any sexual contact with a child by an adult under any circumstances, nor do I believe that this is a 'mistake'. If there were some issues that are beyond what we know, or think we know, about the facts in this case, then those are for the parents of the boy, the woman involved, and the judicial system to work through. That whole saying about glass houses.....
Two, the disparaging comments from several people about the North County people and indications of incest. This, to me, tends to make me think there are a lot of misinformation out there, and some people responding should get their facts straight. Pedophilia, incest, and rape are all different forms of sexual depravation and each should not be connected to the other.
Three, the remarks from those outside of this area do not know the people of the area. And even some of you who are from here are making remarks that are not true. Just what does 'backward' mean? If it means that some of the people who live here can make a life with little, that they love and raise their children hoping to do better than their parents did, are born, live and die in a place that can be one of the best in the world, then okay, backward it is. But I wonder if the perceptions of this are not a little skewed.
I, too, live here and am a part of the preservation of our way of life with the independent attitudes and atmosphere that is so good about our small towns. Tarring us all with the same brush is not only unfair, but unjustified.
If this were my child, I would be concerned with getting them through all of the mixed messages he is getting. Get him someone to talk to if he needs it and move forward as soon as we could, looking for signs of any lasting detrimental effects.
