The AAFP has quickly and forcefully rebutted a Sept.7 New York Times article that claims primary care physician fees and incomes are a major driver of the nation's overall health care costs.
Though I do not know the technicalities of the primary care physician’s fees, but if you get the kind of service that you paid for, then I guess it will be reasonable. On the other hand, hip implants cost much and is expected to last longer and give the kind of relief suited for its price. However, in the site http://www.hiprecalllaw.com , the hip devices were faulty and caused harm to its recipients.
This is a good and interesting yet intriguing article about how American doctors spend more time putting up hip replacement than consultation. Similar issues can also be read at www.depuyhiprecallcenter.com
In this case they might need to investigate more on what is causing the bulk of the health care budget to go to orthopedic doctors. As long as every penny counts, that should not be an issue especially with the ongoing revision surgeries for many patients with faulty hip implants such as in the case here: http://www.strykerhiprecall.us/
