Yes reading this story is heartbreaking but veterans can't depend on the VA for answers. Veterans need to talk to one another about how and where to find a job, even if it is not in their home town. The focus is about how to move forward and feel 'worthwhile' in a world that does not understand.
It is hard to leave your family behind in order to support them but the reality in today's world is worse than when veterans left it. Disillusioned in a world that doesn't understand and feeling of hopelessness. Many veterans years ago felt the same thing and family problems developed but the veteran survived by no other choice. Families need to support the veteran in the choices they make to support their families. There are so many issues here to understand that cannot be explained in one brief statement.

BOTH political parties are filth , they love to drape the flag on their never serving shoulders while slicing VA benefits and care to shreds.

The GOP holds the record for being hypocrites but the weak impotent Dems just go with it.

No self respecting person should EVER serve in the military.

I served many years ago when we had a nation to be proud of. Now a days I would not trust anything the govt says or does. Sorry for the soldiers who fought and are still trying to get benefits they deserve. They are the ones who need our support for what they are going through today.
