Dislocated Aerospace industry allowance, BS tools "don't need receipts the IRS will be able to see your tools and that works just the same". BS. How about oh if you live together 6 months out of the year, you can file married filing joint return. BS. Miles to work if you live a certain amount away. BS. Oh be sure to look at your charitable amounts he put on the return. Yea that was a shocker, be sure to look.

JR Kennedy is under criminal federal investigation. He caused many L3 employees much grief, and stress. Because of JR's mistakes many L3 employees were put in financial stress and most of the employees were even audited.

Tax preparer indicted on 23 federal charges
Register staff report

RICHMOND — A Richmond tax preparer was arraigned Friday in federal court in Lexington on charges he assisted others in the filing of more than 20 false tax returns.

A federal grand jury in Covington returned an indictment April 14 against James Raymond (J.R.) Kennedy, 56, charging him with 23 counts of willfully aiding and assisting in the filing of false federal income tax returns.

The IRS arrested Kennedy in Greenville, S.C., on April 22.

Kennedy, whose downtown office was raided a couple of years ago, pleaded not guilty Friday to the charges.

Kennedy owned and operated J. R. Kennedy and Associates (JRKA) in Richmond, and provided tax preparation services such as client counseling, preparing clients’ returns, electronically filing clients’ returns and maintaining client files. A portion of Kennedy's clients were employed in the aviation industry and were located throughout the country, according to the indictment.

Kennedy allegedly promoted tax deductions that were not authorized by law and he trained JRKA staff to counsel such clients that the deductions were legitimate, when he knew they were not, the indictment alleges.

The investigation preceding the Indictment was conducted by the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division.

The case will be prosecuted by Robert K. McBride.

If convicted, Kennedy faces a maximum prison sentence of three years on each count. However, any sentence following conviction would be imposed by the court after consideration of the United States Sentencing Guidelines and the federal statute governing the imposition of sentence.
