I was just wondering cause I have tried to find a job in all of these factories and none of them want to hire me cause of my past, given what I did was bad but it was almost 13 years ago and I have not been in any type of trouble since. Dont these people believe in giving people a second chance not everybody is going to be a repeat offender... They say that when you get out of prison it is your second chance on life, well where is it? I cant help support my family by working at a fast food joint.... Just wondering if anybody has any type of info on some companies that will hire felons?????

Maybe they gave a few cons a 2nd chance and they didnt do right and messed up again making it hard for others to get hired on.

yea I do believe that but if you look at a persons background such as mine it is clear for the last 13 years. I had a great job and held onto it for almost 7 years and got laid off when the economy went to hell and have not had no luck since.... I am just trying to get some ideas of some places around here that will hire felons not ones that shoot us down as soon as they see the question marked yes on the application. If you have any ideas it would be very helpful.....

I have worked for many different companies from sanderson farms which is a company that looks to use u up and when ur body is beaten up lets u go I have also worked for Allergan and a.h.p which was bought out and tractor supply threw temp service but was denied due to bad background I feel felons are only good for the low paying back breaking jobs that no one wants to do I am well educated but that means nothing to these big companies that look at you as just a criminal slash cheap laborer
