So were you aware that there are EMERGENCIES that come in and out on a daily basis. Apparently you were not made aware of this situation. It is the clinics MOTTO care for emergencies first! I seem to not mind the wait b/c this gives me time to ask more questions about my animals and understand their health issues.

We like Dr. Tunmire and her staff. She's taken very good care of our elderly dog - he has several issues and we've always had great care from this clinic. I can highly recommend.

I have had good care in the past, however, I have a complaint regarding the office manager. I wrote a check on 8-11 for a large amount, and seven weeks later, one day before my paycheck posted, the check went through the bank. I called and asked why the check was held so long, and OM stated check had been misplace, and when found was deposited. I suggested a courtesy call would have been appropriate since more than seven weeks had passed, and she chastized me for not reconciling my bank statement. I stated I did not feel I was at fault, and she told me people do things differently and personally, she reconciles her statements. I will not use this vet again. Sorry, Kim, I think you are great, but your OM really ticked me off! If she could hold that check 7 weeks, she could have made a courtesy call to say the check was found and could she run it through now. Instead, it posted one day before my paycheck, and cost me a fee at the bank. Not fair.

I personally think this place is one of the WORST vet clinics I have ever been too. I waited almost an hour for my first visit there with my dog, which really pissed me off. The place stunk, the people were rude, and the vet just sucks. I can tell you I will NEVER recommend this vet to anyone... there are many other vet clinics that will take care of your animal, will show you respect and get you in and out of there in an timely manner. good luck animal clinic, cause you suck.

Dr. Tunmire does receive a large amount of emergencies on a regular basis. She also does house calls. I believe this is due to her resonable pricing. She has been a caring vet for my animals over the years and I also have had to wait. I would like to think she would take the same effort in caring for any emergency I may have over a shot or visit. I think consideration for the injured animals that come in should be everyone's first priority because one day it maybe one of you own. I hope that your own animal isn't put second to a regular visit.
