They might help out with charities which is admirable, BUT why not help out the average consumer(especially in hard times like this) and price it a little more down to earth?
The shirt was on a rack with others and pants. Tops are 2.50 and bottoms are 3.00. I thought I'd be spending the 2.50 which isn't as bad(though a thrift shop I go to charges 1.25 for pants and shirts), but because it had a zipper, they want double?

and the other thrift store I go to lets you fill paper(Kroger) bags up to the top and charges you 8.00 for it, and employs people with special needs.
If I had bought the shirt and a pair of pants, it would have been 8.63...

No I do not agree with their prices anymore. In my opinion they are charging too much for used clothing, pictures, furniture, etc. It use to be fun and go in there and find a real bargain on something. I now go there a lot less and so do my friends. Also I heard a rumor that stores do not wash clothing before putting them out for resale. So if you do purchase clothing, make sure to wash it before wearing it.

I agree with you, thier prices have gone up and some things are a little pricey. i mean you go there to find a bargain and come out feeling like you spent to much on hardly any items. I know they have thier "causes" and things they help but come on! Goodwill is supposed to be a thrift store for goodness sake!

I agree, they are way overpriced. i rarely shop there for that reason.
Its too hard to find a bargain and that's the reason for the store.

Everything to them is donated, yet they wanted to charge me five dollars for a shirt just because it had a zipper on it, when I can go to walmart or JC Penny and get one for the same price that's new.

It's like they take advantage of people's goodwill....

So again, do you agree with Goodwill Prices?

Can someone post a number to where I can report these thrift stores? Unique thrift store is one that are overcharging on items that are donated to them. Can you believe that they had purses by "Gucci" for $169.00? If this isn't wrong and greedy then I don't know what it is.
