Woods Mobile Homes tricked my family into putting a $500 deposit down on a trailor while i tried to get financing. When the financing fell thru they wouldnt give back the $500. In other words...they took my $500 in return of absolutely nothing. I have reported them to the BBB.

Go back to the bank and tell them what happened. They may help you get the money back. If that dont work, small claims court will do the trick.

The bank don't care if he gets his money back. Why should they. Woods kept his money because it was Ernest Money and the dumb a$$ didn't have a clause to have his money returned. Or the idot backed out of the deal all together. Monore County people are stupid.

They r way too high. My cousin bought one there n they had alot of add-on stuff they dont tell u about in the beginning. Its worth it to drive on to cookeville. More selection and better service.

THEY ARE PRETTY CROCKED THEY HAVE OPEN AND CLOSED MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND THEY DO NOT GIVE BACK ERNEST MONEY UNLESS YOU HAVE ON PAPER THAT IT IS RETURNED TO U. I WOULD NEVER GIVE ERNEST MONEY ESP. ON A MOBILE HOME THERE ARE MILLIONS OF MOBILE HOME PLACES TO BUY FROM AND GET DEALS AND MOST OF THE TIME BETTER DEAL THEN YOU CAN GET FROM THEM SO PUTTING DOWN ERNEST MONEY SHOULD NEVER BE AN OPTION WHEN PURCHASING A MOBILE HOME. i'M JUST SAYIN

I actually have a good job in a nice office but I would never put down anybody that works at Walmart or anywhere else. I appreciate those people who work 8 hours on their feet - it is not easy.

ernest money and a deposit are close to the same thing. what if woods had someone else come by and want to purchase the same trailer while they were waiting for the first customer with shitty credit? do you think the customer would care if they lost possibly thousands?
