Roadwork at routes 12, 120 marks start of Woodman's work in Lakemoor
Electronic signs warning drivers of pending delays at the busy intersection of routes 12 and 120 in Lakemoor are in place as construction of a long-sought Woodman's Food Market inches ahead. Next week, silt fences will be installed and equipment mobilized, said Matt Dabrowski, the village's director of community and economic development.

I will never shop woodmans in Lakemoor.

Woodmans is the big-box version or Aldi. I will spend the extra $ and stick with Jewel or Marianos

Its much cheaper at the Woodman's in Kenosha. No sales tax on food and no $100 ticket for stopping at red lights.

Sure there is no sales tax, but have you ever noticed a box of Cheerios that is $3.29 in Illinois is $3.69 in Wisconsin? You are also paying $3.00 a gallon in gas to drive to Kenosha. If you know the rules of the road, a red-light camera should not be a concern.

Well I don't know what the price of Cheerios is in either state but for me its only 20 minutes away and I can fill up in Kenosha at usually a quarter of a dollar cheaper a gallon and I don't have to worry about a trigger happy camera at that intersection. Its never gotten me but there's always a first. Its sure beats paying for a piano player at Mariano's.
