I moved from Clark Cty. which also has a very large Amish population and have heard this complaint repeatedly. My feeling on this is yes, horse poop is ugly to look at, but it is all natural and biodegradeable. On the other hand, carbon monoxide, etc. is invisible, but also deadly; everytime each one of us starts up our lawn mowers, which emits more carbon monoxide than an automobile, or hops into our car to run to our mailbox is guilty of much uglier pollution. But maybe some people think that as long as you can't see it...
