am so sorry for the lost but at 10PM i will be looking for my kids, why isn't he home on school nights, i agree to noregret. This is a concern for us parents, thank goodness no other vehicle was involved, it could have easily involve anyone coming home to their family from work. many fatal accidents involving teenage drivers/drunk drivers/reckless drivers happens everyday and yet nobody take driving a vehicle seriously, There are numerous drivers using cell phone while driving. am just so happy that law enforcement is so active on the road lately. thanks to the troopers and local cops, my hats off to you all

I don't know this young man but am saddened to hear of his passing. To all of you young people please stay strong and know that it's going to be ok. I'm sorry that you've lost your friend.

Unbelievable that this is what you have to say at a time like this. Do you know his circumstance? I do not know it either but I know that you're hiding behind a screen name in order to trash a someone's son, someone's son, and someone's brother whom you know nothing about.

I'll bet you weren't at home in bed by 0900 every night because it was a school night, were you? I have a seventeen year old son and he's a GREAT kid, and guess what... sometimes he might be out on a school night. He has track meets that end in Hampton at 0900 p.m. He works until 0800 p.m. some nights, and he might even catch a movie or two.

It is my sincere hope that you never have to suffer through the loss of a young loved one. If you do, remember the comments you left about this young man for all of his friends and family members to see with NO REGRETS.

Please clarify what it is that you agree with? Are you thinking he's a thug because he was in a car going down the interstate. Wow, I really need to look around next time when I'm in my car driving 65 at the THUGS in the car next to me. Is 10 p.m. unreasonable for a 17 year old to not be in the house?

I do agree about all of the distractions that face ALL drivers, not just teenagers. TVs in the cars, texting, cell phones, radio, and other passengers.

Where are these holier than though attitudes when it might be your child one day that you have to bury?
