She had a restraining order for him and he had been to court. Father did it scared the kid and new boyfriend into running then worked his masonic magic or something and the rest is nothing but no child support, smooth sailing, and brainwashing a daughter and lots more freaky stuff. I can see through a piece of shit like a cigarette cellophane laying in a puddle of piss A will?! No other kids! Mr. Short was not doing well and wanted to go where business was better. The killer of Britteny's mother was not a cop. He was a pervert and killer and was sentenced to life in prison. Do you post a lot when you are on drugs?

The one with the warrant and the restrainment orders through out the past for beating tammys (the mothers) ass. You could use a few drugs. smart ass....... dumbass bitch.

Problem, I am up bright and early and ready for work without them. Where are you and what condition are YOU in? The cop has nothing to do with the murder of B's mother. The pedophile/kidnapper and murderer in the BS case pled guilty and is in prison!

Yea on the first one I lived across the road. It really shook the town. On the second one I just have the funny feeling about the abusive cop husband (who was married to the girls mother and the father of B) Who currently had court dates himself over beating her mothers ass and plenty of restraining orders from the mother and daughter. You never really know how easy it would be to plead guilty other than have your own throat cut. And as for what condition I am in is not of your business really but I will say this, "If its in the cards for me I do believe I will be well very much into more than a few beers by the time sun sets tonight."

A "funny feeling"? Does knowing about the inappropriate relationship between the little 12 year old and a 30-ish man who had courted and moved in with the mother give you any funny feelings? Any hint of intimidation from a "cop" with restraining orders and charges of abuse against him, and the pedophile's lawyer would have been all over the news media and the judicial system, getting the news out there! And before you hit that good cold beer, could you just admit that the prosecutor's office must have had evidence that would have convinced a jury? He pled guilty and is serving life! You must be a relative of the killer/kidnapper. Why don't you believe circumstancial evidence, the text messages, the girl's testimony, and his confession?(And we assume the state had more because the lowlife pled out before a trial!) But you may be a fan of those TV cops and lawyers shows who believes that every case should have the twists and turns of an unbelievable plot and then the AHAH moment of truth and the 100% absolute proof at the end!

I bet the town was shaking for years! and is still shaking because a cold blooded murderer is still out there. He or they killed her mom and dad, nothing trashed or stolen, he just took the little girl. Sounded like he was after the girl, doesn't it? I think LE say that in the case of a killing the pedophile usually does it in about four hours. That poor little girl.

He had several court dates pending and two real good restraining orders in place at the time. I do watch to much tv and that shit was splashed across mine for way to long. You can go back to 7 or 10 coverage and see for yourself.

Strange because when you don't know why or how something like that could happen it just puts a sick feeling in your gut. Im going to go have that drink, throw a steak on the grill, then to bed. Got to work in morning so no time for rehab just yet but listen I'm trying real hard. Been many a year since I was in rehab but if I was going to go I think I'd like to bust big rich syurup like shot of smak/coke in my arm the whole ride there. Hell could be time for a refresher course.

Hell could be time for a refresher course. That guy did not realize there were two discussions, one about the missing girl Britteny found alive and the other one about the Short girl and her mom and dad at Oak Level all found dead. I am a Va resident then and work takes me to southwest Va and Tenn, but the Short murders were the worst I had heard of. About the smack I'd keep away and go for the drink and the steak. That reminds me, where I grew up I see pitiful kids, looking for something I guess. But all they can afford is the meth. They are the worst looking humans I have seen.

Really no different than it was twenty years ago here. The only difference is that now is the cops have all these informants selling the stuff. All that is really happening is they are perpetuating the mess by allowing a bunch of informants addict then rat on the very towns children. Twenty years ago it was the cops selling it in the first place. Now they are just catching up in court. Never had this happen but I think if a informant came to my house took my child out ruined their life forever I'd have to go ahead and shoot the bastards and the cops that put them up to it. I don't see nothing wrong with an adult setting down smoking a little pot, eating some shrooms, or even a line or two of some good coke every now and them. I used to get out and have a good time every once in a bit.

I have always been so glad to hold on to reality with white knuckles though so would never do any of the hallucinogens.

Maybe he hit her over bringing a weirdo into the house with his little daughter there---not that it was right to hit her because of that, but I was just saying. About the Short family case, there is a lot of religion on the Martinsille Va Topix but nothing except this thread that mentions the Short family. All three of them were shot.
