Does it have to make the news? Of course it does. I WANT to know when law enforcement messes up I'm hoping they finally see they are no different from you and me just because they carry a badge.

Look at his record,He is not a regular,or average police officer,some of you are such morons,being a police officer,fireman,or military,is like not a great job,and hasn't been for 5,6 years.Is drunk driving wrong? of course it is,but how many people run into burning buildings to save people,any of you??Under cover,this guy is a HERO,he shouldn't lose his job,or go to jail,he's earned a little credit.

Ok seriouslly no need to get exicted. Let me clarify that comment. Ok so all cops, deputy's,and sherriff's aren't bad. But come on man you going to tell me that there are not alot of crooked cops now a days. And I'm not talking just Virginia so don't come back at me telling me to move or something. LOL Anyway yes they do put there lives on the line everyday no I don't take chances. like them everday My job is to trust in the law and that I have somewhere to run if in trouble and I'm greatful for that my point is NOT ALL are good and when you run into the bad ones half the time they think there law I'm not going to get caught or I'm law nothing severe can happen to me. I think its terrible just because the man is law enforcement that his dui is on every new channel in the hampton roads area . If they are gonna do this to cops they should do this to everyone one . Yes, he is a cop so therefore he is held to higher standards ,but in the same sense he is a human to and humans make mistakes .Yes , it was wrong that he drove drunk , but does that me that he needs to be humiliated by spreading his life on the news ? How many good things that this man has done in his career has made the news NONE ! Maybe some of you bad mouthing this man that you dont even know should stop and think about all the good that he has done and not the one thing that he did wrong that i am sure he will pay for just like anyone else .

For me I hate cops perfect and serve my asa. Last year they taunted my family so bad that I cant even work now. They think they are above the law but sorry little boys we wren t the only ones being watched. They need to stop that seargant for good and never let him be a cop again they need a 1 time tolerance and then your gone

I think va beach is the worse of all they want you to be scared of them but no I say my piece but he better have a good reason for talking to me or he s boos have a ear full. Sorry but I am so bitter I do not trust them at all internal affairs needs to step up the process.also if you look most of the force is fat could nt run to catch anything so diets should be imposed. Need lay off the donuts lol ok that's my belief
