Gee, I guess those people that got blown up in Oklahoma/the kids at Columbine/those shoppers in that mall in Omaha/the Va Tech victims were all killed by aliens. Reminds of a joke told by a Chicano comedian: When Latinos/Blacks kill someone, it's usually directed specifically at that person, not justifying it, just explaining it. When white folks start blasting, it can be for no reason other than to kill someone (i.e. that fine upstanding White gentleman who decided to shoot at people on the interstate because his girlfriend left him). Contrary to your generalizations, most African American people don't excuse crime, and want the criminal to pay for the crime, since the majority of crimes committed by African Americans usually have a African American as the victim. I don't know where you got your information, but all of the Black people I know would not excuse criminal action, no matter what the race of the thug.

As much as I appreciate credit for VA Tech, that was an asian. As for the rest, the total number killed was less than the number killed by Ghetto violence this year alone.

The difference is we aren't making excuses for crime, rather we'd like them all to pay for thier crimes.

ToG's post was in direct response to somethin HG Robinson said. He even quoted HG. You may not excuse black thugs for committing violence, but HG does on a regular basis.

The point was, the killer at Tech was not African American, but I concede your point on that. Again, most African Americans don't excuse crime and are law abiding. Tell me, how many Black crime victims you know that have made excuses for the criminal that assaulted them? How many Black people you know that have said CRIME IS OK because of poverty, broken homes, drugs, racism, etc? By the way, there is no credit for what happened to those poor kids at Tech. It was a savage attack by a savage mentally ill man and I'm willing to bet that not one of the victims families said, at least the shooter wasn't Black/White/Latino.

Having been and almost been a victim of violent crime, I have no sympathy for thugs of whatever color. The aforementioned incidents also changed my mind on gun control and the death penalty.
