The State maintains Long Fork and Indian Creek... The county maintains the side roads.. As for that the Magistrate has to bring issues before the court before they can get something done. Go to other parts of the county and then come back and do a compare and contrast. Because I have lived in a different district and when moving to this one I was amazed by the fact that the roads are maintained much more and the community has more as a whole than the dist. that I previously resided in. So before knocking down someone who seems to have been doing a pretty disant job take a look else where.

Chick does a good job but like in anything else there's always gonna be whiners and people you just can't make happy. We're in ALOT better shape than if someone else was magistrate!

Apparently you haven't been up Longfork lately. The roads are awlful everywhere. If you hadn't heard the state budget is pretty well bust which means each county gets less and less money. I noticed Dorton's park looks pretty good as well as Longforks. As for cleaning roads; I know for a fact that all roads eventually get cleaned. The problem is you have two salt trucks to clean all the hollow roads in District 2. Do you honestly have any idea how many roads that is? The problem with road cleaning is we need more trucks and more crews. Which will ultimately take more state money. Maybe we should start making changes at the state level.
