Not me neither , I heard she got a divorce from him , again hearsay , but was that before or after that incident with the baby. Did she have to make a decision , Husband or District Justice job ? I read on the Sentinel website a comment that she was not like DJ Clare , Well, I think DJ Clare forgot more about justice than Tammy will ever know .

Your headline says "why all the negativity" and you seem to have more than anyone else!! You need a new hobby. If you can do so much better than all of the people that you BLAST on here, why don't you go out and do their job. That's what forums are for, "blasting" off. You're more than welcome to not agree with my posts, that's what makes posting here enjoyable, getting to see different people's opinions.

Someone must have found out , this forum is not like the Sentinel where you can get away with things by them not printing . Is their something else about this Candidate for District Justice that you don't want us to know or should we wait until she is elected and then find out like the new US treasury secretary and the US Health and service secertary not paying their taxes .

When you talk about District judges , Barbara Clare is probably the one that most crimminals would rather not see because she upholds the laws , and Tammy may be right when she says that job depends on fairness , respect , and judgement. It could mean the difference between going to jail or not going to jail . Here is my next question then , and Tammy was part of this way of doing things , Remember when the police would have to run the crimminals to another district in Juniata County to be arraigned in the evening and on Weekends because they shared time on call. So if all these character issues are suppose to mean so much , why does she think it is fair for a citizens of this district to put their trust in one person to perform their duties and goes to the polls and votes for them , Afterwards finding out them same people are not accountable because they were not used in a case . You may have voted for one person and receive service from someone not even in the same disrict that you did not vote for . I hope that idea never returns .

Maybe you need to do more reading ,and pay attention to what goes on around you . This hearsay came from the horses mouth , a report from the Burnham Council meeting reported to the Sentinel where they took actions on that very subject. If your trying to be contradictive , better try again .

But like their response to my last 2 posts. They like the anonymity, they enjoy controversy. Just another uneducated person with too much time on their hands. Willing to destroy a person on a forum and not get the facts straight. They would never dream of signing their name to a letter stating what they did when they began this post because then it would be grounds for slander. Not only are they an idiot, they're just plain ignorant!!

I lived beside her, I know exactly what she and her husband were like. They certainly didn't care about coming home drunk (no one brought them home either..DUI) and fighting half the night when there was small children that lived on both sides of them. I sure hope she's changed since that time.

This article from the Sentinel website tells me that the hearsay may be right because there was no husband mentioned , just parents and a son .

You can vote for her. You can vote against her. Like every citizen, you have the right to make an ill-informed vote based on "hearsy may be right" reactions.
I challenge you to find out the facts. Check her record. Do some thinking. Call her office and talk to her. Ask her about her judicial philosophy. Ask her about her workload. If you are hung up on the fact if she is married or not, ask her about that.
After doing all that, you may decide that she deserves your vote. You may decide that she doesn't. In any case, everyone will be better served because the decision will have been made after reflection of the facts, and not "hearsay".
The next time you post about this subject, I'll be interested to hear what you found out.

I don't think anyone that doesn't live in her jurisdiction has any right to stir up trouble. I like the fact that Lewistown Resident admits that they don't vote for that office. Why don't the rest of you do the same. To me, that is the same thing as all of these people that do not vote and run around and complain about our government. I deal with this every day, I work with a couple of people that don't vote EVER and they are the biggest ones blasting Rendell and Obama. If you don't vote, don't BITCH. You're correct, I do not live in Tammy's jurisdiction. I do however work in and travel through it daily which means I have a vested interest in who judges criminals in that area.
