Prayers should go to our troops that remain in Iraq. They will be in greater danger now. As for the turning the page, sometimes all that's left is the binder

We respect our soldiers but they died for a George W. Bush lie. They should have never been sent there in the first place. If the invasion was to find WMD, why after they were not found was the name of this war changed to Iraqi freedom? Bush invaded Iraq because Sadam tried to have his father killed. It was all for revenge.

I have fought in the first war. But it isn't right for someone to say that our troops are dying for nothing. Our government has always been screwed up in some way and it will NEVER change.

I'd like to ask Mr Obama - Why is it that, unlike in speeches given by former presidents from the same press room, since you redecotrated there is no American flag visible? Do the stars and stripes offend you so much that you had them removed? Also, exactly what is in the design of the middle-eastern decor that has replaced the flag? I'm not just simply curious. I'm very concerned!

You think it's been a slow process? What would make you say that Obama????

But as long as your sitting in the white house & rolling in your money, why the heck would you care about the rest of us...

So glad I didn't vote for you!!!!!!!

Sounds like the only person you serve is yourself. You are ignorant if you think he didn't have those weapons. He moved them. And you know what? If he did this to avenge his father......good for him. I would hope you would do the same if it was your father. Who is the failure here? Obama....and you. Loser. And we can all tell you have never served this country. Why not do us all a favor and move.

The hate, racism-in-denial, and cluelessness in this comment stream is scary. Did everyone turn off their brains and(or) teevees November 4th, 2008, and feed on right-wing internet memes in the interim??? Or, just never tuned OUT Fox News???

The cluelessness made history on Nov. 4, 2008, when an inexperienced, unqualified candidate won the presidency because voters were so outraged at George W Bush that they decided they needed to vote against Republicans. Unfortunately, they ended up with an excellent campaigner who has now proven himself to be even worse than Bush...but they "made history". Hopefully, in 2012, they will once again make history by defeating him.

"He may be leader of the free world, but President Barack Obama isn't exempt from a summer rainstorm like the one that blew across New England on Monday, swamping his Martha's Vineyard vacation."... i thought john boehner was the leader of the free world? or the t partyers?... why is obama leader of the free world when good stuff happens, but isnt when things are bad? is he or isnt he the prez? and he is supposed to OUR leader, not the worlds..... so is he the "golfer of the free world"? it must be nice to be so rich like him, the 50 thou for the rental property could have been better used by his,our injured troops in his,our wars...he should be anxious to pay extra in taxes like buffett claims to be too, s why not jus pay extra on your own?..."ask not what your country can do for you.........."

Bush is not president anymore, so it was right for the current president to welcome them back, considering little bush was trying to pick up where father bush left off. So freedom, why don't you run for president?
obama said it was a "war of choice", obama said "were just creating more terrorists" when bush spoke of victory, the left asked "what is winning?" obama said we were "torturing people in iraq"and gitmo, obama said "we cant win"..... the troops liked bush, the ones i know, felt he was on thier side....but if something goes bad in iraq, itll get pinned on u know who..... i say pull out now, like the left said, "we cant win" if they feel that way, they have no biz leading our troops.......they also said "were spread too thin" before he started another war he says we cant win...go figure....atleast the left is honest about their war skills...remember viet-nam? no-one focuses on this part, that was the dems, it didnt end till a repub pulled us out..many try to spin it the opposite

...since when isnt bush the pres anymore?..... maybe tell obama that....wow, one liberal has finally "movedon" or "progressed" past bush...lol...but we know as soon as something bad happens, bush will suddenly be the pres again.... all good is obama, all bad is bush.. repeat over and often, soon youll be a lib...

Finally an end to Bush's failed war. President Obama is not going to take any credit for the mistakes of the previous administration. The blood of hundreds of thousands of people is on the hands of George W. Bush. Let alone the failure to stop the planes when they attacked on September 11, 2001 where over 3000 people died due to his criminal negligence. When he croaks, Maybe Ronnie Ray-Gun will save a cool spot for him in the devils home.
...but wouldnt 3 yrs into bush, still be considered clinton?.. 3 yrs into obama, it is still by many considered bush.... u left out freeing 50 mil iraqi's and decimating alqeada.... also, correct me if im wrong, but some libs said bush did 9-11, so wouldnt that mean he was flying the jets?...too ba you didnt realize alqeaa declared war on us during the clinton admin....uss cole? wtc? khobar towers? 2 embassies? they ring a bell in that empty head? or did u just start keep in up things after the war started? many libs did that... look up dems on wmd on youtube... if u want to see some truth.. bet you wont do it though

Bush didn't do anything but turn Iraq into a shathole. The Iraq war was a failure. Anybody who died in it lost their lives for nothing. They weren't protecting OUR FREEDOM. Let's just be honest.
Obama isn't much better than Bush, but at least he ended one out of the two dumb wars.
