Minnesota Historical Society considers closing sites

Minnesotans' links to their past may be buried under a mountain of state financial woes, as the Minnesota Historical Society is considering cutting access to some of the state's most famous landmarks to help close a likely budget deficit.

Another Tough Lesson

This is bad news but MHS shares some blame. Does anyone remember the proposal to build a new building at Historic Fort Snelling? Just about two years ago, thank goodness it didn't happen, imagine a brand spanking new building in the middle of a collection of old buildings needing rehab. What is their business anyway? Time to change out the leadership, out of touch with what Minnesota needs and how they (MHS) should behave. We are watching Nina...
