I know I'm going to come off as cheap when I say this but I'm not about to spend 450 dollars on a dress I'm only going to wear once and for a few hours at that. So, is there any place in E-town that you can rent a prom dress from?

I know u said etown but David's bridal on Bardstown road is pretty cheap. My prom dress was only 126. You can also find people selling them on Craigslist pretty cheap or you can check out bridal warehouse in etown.

See I'm not sure what size because I want a (this sounds stupid) princess-like dress and my waist is a size 12 but I wear a size 16,17 or 18 (in some cases) in pants because I have a big ass and thighs that match lol.

126 sounds like a great price.:). Have you guys heard anything about Genos? I mean do you know if they are really expensive or how they work there?

That sucks I wish they did rent. I guess I will have to look around a little before getting back to anyone selling dresses on here I was kind of trying to stay away from buying online I'm not sure though. There is still some time to think on it.:) Thanks everyone.

Have you tried looking at the etown yard sale page on facebook. There are tons of beautiful prom dresses that people are selling really cheap. Might be worth a try if you dont mind second hand. Most say they have only been worn once. Check it out

Tuxedo avenue sometimes has nice dresses abt 200 but renting from anywhere is going to be pricey, I've worked at a cpl diff stores n jcp in lville is your best bet. I got a gorgeous black one for 80$ there. But that was 2008 lol

I have tons of dresses that are amazing. I would rent one to you. I have a pink special ordered dress from Japan, hand beaded, pink, ball gown. So big it stands up on its own. I paid 750.00 for it for my daughter and it was only worn for two hours. I also have a blue mermaid dress, stunning dress, I paid 650.00 for it. I would consider renting them. leave a message on here if you are interested.
