I know for a fact the jails wont make him stay as long as the support gets paid. My brother always got locked up too. And our family would send in money till it was enough to have him released. The jails dont want to house inmates on pety crimes. Maybe if you all helped out they would release him. I dont know how far behind he is. But we paid a thousand and my brother was released. Good luck though.

I do beleive all men should have to pay child support. But this person who is locked up for the second time in Hardin county jail for child support does not have a education pass 8th grade never got a GED and his father side of the family has a long history of mental issues and we do beleive he has them also. First job he had was at a fast food place. He didn't even make enough to pay child support family had to help kick in the rest. He had to move out of state to live with family in order to eat stay warm as he couldn't afford to live by himself. As he moved out of state looking for a job Hardin county locked him up. So when he got out still looking for a job was bugging the neighbor next door every day and finally got him a job 5 months later. During them 5 months he really did try but who wants to hire someone that has fugitive from justice and felony on back ground check and does not have reason why. Last job he had they hired him and boss really liked him had him start working before background check came back. 2 weeks later he was fired and was told he ran a honest business and didn't need him working for him to leave. Didn't even give him a chance to explain why. He has tried to get a job as he does live out of state but once they do a back ground check fugitive from justice pulls up felony. How Hardin county expect fathers to get a job by doing this crap. He is at the point to end his life. He feels this is a cycle with Hardin county. His education level and working at a fast food place how in the hell did they calculate child support. He is asked to pay the same amount as my ex does for 2 kids and my ex works as a Sheriff in another state. Does not seem right to me. Just curious as how to help him he has no one there in Hardin Ky no family no friends. He does not understand to ask any questions about child support or modification or who to help him. I am scared this time I won't see him again as he will just end his life.
Child support for someone in that position is based off minimum wage. Not sure what he is suppose to pay. But for two kids its usually 280-300. I pay close to 400 a month for one. And I dont make the worse or best money.

Is the money actually spent on the child?

I know in my case it isnt. Not for just my child. But the mother pays her bills with it which provides a roof over my kids head. Though my kid never has any decent clothes or shoes it seems. Always comes in hand me downs and it pisses me off. I end buying extra when I have my kid on clothes and shoes.

I would like to ask you some questions and or advice if you don't mind. Thanks

The jails provide a small mattress which is considered a bed to them. But if you think he's going to end his life then you should contact the jail. But if he paid child support he wouldn't be in that position. People need to realize you cant make babies and not support them. Like I said my family has had to help my brother out too. Thank god he pays whaf he can now. He lives out of state in IL and sends what he can in. Here in KY they cant lock you up as long as your trying. But if hes been to court then he should know what he has to pay to get out. Vs a bond he will have to pay what he is behind.

"I do beleive all men should have to pay child support."

Why? Honestly why? If money is so very important why not simply give the child to the one who makes the most money? Oh, I see, that would be the female and of course she can't be inconvenienced. Right... so child support is for the mother, not the children. It's vagina money not child support. And for this we get vicious federal, state, and local agencies, and lots of votes from those who would enslave their neighbor. Great solution.

You want civilization? End all transfer payments - alimony, child support, etc. Eliminate the family court system completely. What you want though is women being able to own a slave at government gunpoint. This is not new, and it is pure evil. Pay a woman to end her marriage and promise her a slave then stare pretending to be aghast at the divorce rate. This is the situation today and long term it cannot work. Divorce rape is not a long term solution. Forced income transfer from men to women might be the feminist wet dream but it isn't viable, no matter how much violence, guns, threats, and court you throw at it.

my husband is being in support.. he has tried to find a job and cant.. he gets a job and now they want to lock him up.. we live in a travel trailer just to have a place to live.. my husband works off our rent and thats the only way we can even have a place... the mother can go out and party.. she has pics on myspace of her drinking and everything.. she has got NEW tats. my step daughter got over 100,000 in stocks and bonds when my grandmother passed.. yet my husband isnt allowed to see his daughter or call his daughter.. he cant call since the mother moves around so much we never know where she is.. the only way we even get to see pics of his little girl is on facebook and myspace.. we have sent messages to her without response or anything!!! Yet they have him labeled as a dead beat father.. when u have 2 states telling u something different then the other state.. what are u to do.. pay both states?? one state said to pay them our state said to pay them... i think if u have to pay child support u should have rights to see the child.. shold also show where the money is going so we know the child is really the one seeing the money and not the mother going to bars and getting new tats drugs or whatever she wants.

It doest matter if the person gettting the child support takes the check and spends the entire thing on alcohol, partying, whatever. Do you think his child is the first person to live with someone who parties or drinks? Having children doesn't turn you into a nun. The fact of the matter is his child has a place to live, food, clothes, and electricty. Money is money, however its spent. It all goes out the same way it comes in.

But, yeah, anyone who uses Myspace still is def trash. just saying.

OOOOOOOOOOOR the piece of crap can poke a hole in the condom and not tell the girl! Now he won't pay his support for his disabled kid and married a woman who wanted HIM to take care of her and her kids by another man that she didn't bother to marry AND doesn't pay child support for either! Now she doesn't want Tony B. to pay child support so that SHE can have money to go out on weekends! But but but she calls me greedy! Lesson of this story is that never let the condoms out of your sight right before having what is intended to be a farewell fuck!!!!!!!!!!

Birth control pills, etc. Keep your legs closed!
Be fair....it takes 2 like you say!!!
If the system made everyone accountable (including women), there would be less babies out of wedlock. The problem is the system allows for women who choose to make money off of their pregnancies do so.

But considering that I have our son and all he has is her means I win . Great kid, beautiful child, light of my life even though the circumstances behind his conception. If given the opportunity back then, I never would have had Tony B's child willingly. And he knew that. But ha ha on him: I've done good and am happy.

The state does not really care if child support is paid. It's been that way for a long time. So with that being said women need to be more choosy. However most women are naive and will feed into the bull that a male feeds. The Oh I love u I want a family blah blah blah. They will say just about anything to not wear a condom. A female should take bc and make sure the male wears a condom if they do not want children or if neither can support a child. But don't really bitch about not getting help when they don't stick around. If he was good enough to sleep with then he was good enough to breed with. A good saying..... remember don't complain about ur baby daddy remember u picked him. Signed, a fellow female with 3 kids by one baby daddy who I selectively choose and steps up and takes care of his kids.

Ya know shit happens. ANd why I am glad for you that you have a good man doing what he is suppose to, as do I NOW. Not all of us are the same who is owed child support. I have two kids by my ex and was together 8 years with intentions of being together forever. He wasnt just some random guy, plus we was together 4 years before having a child. Now he is just like the rest we hear about. So all Im saying is please dont think all people in these situations are the same.

My "dad" still owes over $10,000 in back support & I am 33 years old. He'll never pay & the only time Kentucky went after him was for the few months my mom drew AFDC. Then they found him fast to get their money back. My parents' were married, but after he came back from basic training he had a huge alcohol problem. My mom gave him an ultimatum & he chose the alcohol. I do think whoever recieves child support should have to show what its spent on. I think some should be allowed to go towards paying bills & buying food, but a child also needs clothes & shoes. My husband has a child with his ex & he is behind, but only because he lost his job & is trying to get another. His child doesn't do without as her mother makes more than her dad & I do combined. We also send clothes home with her & I cover her on my health insurance. We will get it caught up as soon as we can.

You know while he is in there why doesn't he study for his GED. My son's life was crazy and out of control and he had a 1 year old at home. He got his GED while he was in and now he has a really good job in a plant and supports his child and is active in his life.

i have said this before on here with no,or little response! although men should pay child support, divorced fathers by law have no choice. chances are in hardin county,or any county,or any state for that matter....you will not get custody. your ex will qualify for foodstamps, free housing, and all that the government has to offer. the male will put his big boy pants on and go to work, and pay or be labeled a criminal! only 15% of men win sole custody of children in this country! so the next time our president gets up and makes a state of the union address, and wants to spout off feminine rights talking points, keep these statistics in mind! when were we ever equal where it matters?
