A great loss to the community. I went to school with Tim, known him my whole life. He was a great person. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Tim you will be missed in person but I have wonderful memories of our friendship. R.I.P. My dear friend.

I would bet my life savings that none of them are. How cold hearted and disrespectful can u be? Seeing that you want to be a jackass why dont u put ur name on here and see if half of etown is knocking on ur door ready to beat ur ass for ur stupid comments. Tim walker was a great man that everyone loved and respected and everyone within the city is grieving the loss including council members. Have some respect!!!

Oh horse hockey, just wait and see who wants to ride the plitical gravy train by being mayor.

Great man? Good yes, but for whom did he ever sacrifice...our soldiers do more each day to become great that Tim did, no disrespect just fact. He took no risk, just did his job and made good money at it.

Absolutely!

Politicians are just prostitutes ... they both provide the same service for a fee. They also both have to pretend they like you while they are f***ing you.

The 30 million dollar park is already here, and paying for itself. And the restaurant tax is not going anywhere. Even dumber than the politicians are the dumb ass voters who put them in office, and then use forums like TOPIX to beat them. Tim Walker was a fine mayor and a pretty good guy. People liked him, and he'd have won by a landslide had he run again. And obviously, not enough people care about the restaurant tax to repeal it -- illegal, unethical or whatever. If you care so much, RUN for office, and try to make a difference yourself! And then we can beat YOU up on Topix.

Let's hope they can find one, my friend, because E-town is at a very critical stage right now. A few things break our way, and that will in large part depend on how good our next mayor is, and the sky's the limit. Get an idiot in there pissing everyone off, and it could set us back years. Better to be the next Bardstown or Danville than the old E-town!

E-town will never be as good as Bardstown.
