I got my lower lip pierced, my ears pierced a few times, and used to have my belly done. The one that hurt the most was the cartilage in my ear, and it wasn't the piercing itself, but the few days after getting it done. The lip, the worst part was pushing the bar through due to the threading, and as for the belly, worst part of that was the clamp. None really hurt, just a pinch and it was over.
no thanks

Ears pierced for classy earrings. Yes. If you do these other, you deserve any pain you get. 50? What will you look like then ? My guys never brought home girls wearing all of that junk. Neither was their older, quite attractive sister interested in botching herself.

Well.....good for your guys? And as I said before, the piercings didn't really hurt, just a little pinch. I also have a deep red mohawk and rock that everyday. And as for when I am 50, I will look friggin fabulous with my ink, piercings, and a smile on my face. If you don't like piercings then don't get them. Doesnt mean you have to be rude to those who do have them. Have a wonderful evening.

So where does this person work? I know it has to be a professional position making great salary. Management at industry, surgical nurse, administrative position, educator, military. Smile will get you through.

Actually my husband is in the military, and I am a child care specialist. I deal with children who act out against their care takers. My appearance helps the kids relax and trust me. The way i look may be a little shocking to some. But that is just the first layer of me. One thing i do know is respect for others. And not being rude just because of how they look. I also put in volunteer hours at animal shelters when they need the help.

Sounds like you may have a busted compass then.
Anyone else notice there seems to be a lot of rudeness thrown towards people who like to have a little more sass in their style? Really shows who has the morals. Funny how this was a post of a girl asking what piercings look best and people who have no business in the conversation decided to barge in and be rude. Usually means one has issues with their self and tries to compensate by lashing out at others whom they envy or do not try to understand. Tisk tisk. Not a very good example for children.

I believe a person should be able to express their self in any Which fashion they should choose. But I also know their are shallow minded people out there and somethings u may choose to do may affect u from getting a respectable job. Therefore the only peircings u can see in me r in my ears. I don't do tattoos because I think I look better without them but that doesn't make me shun people who do have them. I don't live another persons life so who am I to judge what they do to their body.

And I commend you on your choices. And yes, I have heard of such people who refuse to hire certain people due to what they may look like, but there are also racist, sexist, and homophibic people out there. Lucky for me I have yet to meet a person who judged me souly on what I look like. Discrimination is never ok. I see so many kids ashamed of who they are because of how their parents speak of others. And all they want is acceptance. Pretty sad how I have learned that the "childish" ones aren't the children......but the adults and their cruel ways towards others.

Only just read this thread, I feel that you have a very narrow minded view. I have pink hair, facial piercings and guaged ears, yet I am an A Level Psychology, History of Art and English Language student. Don't judge people.

Girls will piercings can still be just as beautiful if they were to not have piercings.what they choose to do to there bodies is completely up to them. If you find piercings such a turn off don't even acknowledge them or that person at that matter. That is very stereotype. Those with piercings don't all have low education. I bet some girls whom have piercings have a more advance education than you do. Some with piercings are doctors and lawers. May I ask what you do for a living? So before you say those with piercings are dumb give your head a shake and think about that. I have my tragus, conch, belly button, lip and double lobes pierced and I bet I have a higher education than you. So get off your high horse.

Who ever is commenting to you is ridiculous. I believe they are just jealous because they are not attractive enough to pull of piercings or ink, also if they are against piercings why are they on this webpage? Your rock the metal and ink!

It disgust me how stereotype people are. The negative comments that come along with having piercings and tattoos is ridiculous. Having piercings or tattoos makes you unique something that those without piercings or tattoos don't have. Tattoos have lots of meaning to people so for some of you to say tattoos are tacky you clearly don't understand the multiple means behind them. Those with piercings and tattoos can just have ad much as a high education as those who don't. Some with piercings and tattoos become doctors or lawyers. Piercings and tattoos don't lower your chance of being successful in life. Piercings and tattoos are becoming socially acceptable in society today and wil continue to become more popular. Whoever is interest in piercings go ahead and do it, if its something you really want don't let anything hold you back. Remember piercings can be taken out. Get a tattoo with a special meaning. Remember you can still be just as beautiful with piercings and tattoos.

It was simply a statement. If she's truthful about her career goals, she's chosen one that is ultra conservative. No need to get your panties in a wad.
