Ok. HMH bought Acute Care. They needed the revenue. It was a 2 hour wait as it was. Now they go to anohter place that HMH owns for a longer wait. But it gets better. The same owners are opening anohter "wait" place AT THE SAME LOCATION. Just under a different name! Can anyone explain that to me? I'm really confused. Harry the man didn't seem to think it would hurt business or that HMH wouldn't become a monopoly.

Something definitely seems fishy about that deal. As it stands now, the only thing that has changed is that HMH (we the taxpayers) is out $400k and there is still going to be an identical competing business in the same location. Are you telling me that the hospital board thought it was a hoops idea to buy out Acute Care and didn't think they would be selling off the business to someone other than a group of doctors. This is either crooked or incompetent.

Whut? That's like me selling eggs out of my wagon with a sign that says "fresh eggs" door to door and Kroger comes up to me and buys my sign but doens't tell me to quit selling eggs or buy my wagon or chickens. I still own the egg layers, wagon and the right to sell eggs door to door. I'll change my sign to say "really fresh eggs". Crazy. Must be a reason.

Actually, its like you selling old moldy eggs out of a borrowed wagon and making people wait for an hour for them. Then Kroger decides they are sick of looking at you parked on the side of the road and buys your eggs. Your wagon gets loaned to someone else who already sells eggs but is looking to add a wagon. Then you ho home 425k richer and your borrowed wagon gets a fresh paint job and some fresh eggs and everybody is happy.

Acute care sucked anyway. It was like a free clinic. Dirty, long waits and poor treatment. I was mis-diagnosed with hepatitis there because i had muscle cramps. Turns out i was dehydrated. What a bunch of idiots. Whatever happened to the roids juiced law?heard his practice failed miserably and he is an insurance consultant now. What a jerk.

I certainly hope the clean the waiting room a little before reopening. I can give you a history on that place that would a lawyer to follow you around all day. So bad that they called and left a message on my answering machine and then would never accept my return call. I let it drop because I didn't want to be associated with that place in any shape, form or manner. Just the thought of my name appearing on a piece of paper and others knowing about it made me cringe. I would have won but I'm not that kind of person. I have enough on them that they would have gladly given me the 400K. Good luck, HMH. And since the same people own the new place, hmmmmm. By the way, who gets the records? LOL!(if they still exist)

The new urgent care is not owned by the previous owners of AcuteCare. You do not know what you are talking about. It is clean and providers and nurses are outstanding!

HMH bought Acutecare and closed it. The old owners did not open the new place. The doctor at HEartland PRimary Care opened it.

Sooo.... having the exact same medical director at the new facility as AcuteCare did doesn't matter because the name on the buildings title is different? Got it *wink*

Dr. Ingram owns Heartland Primary Care, and when HMH decided to not keep Acutecare open he opened Urgent Care in the same location since he already had HPC right there next to it. Dr. Ingram has many times rejected HMH's bid for a monopoly in Hardin County, and will not be bought by them.

Same medical director? Who exactly do you think that is? Ingram, had nothing to do with Acute Care's business. Dr. Zoeller was the "medical director" for Acute Care, and that is because the owners of Acute Care were not MD's.

@ what is old is new.... You should get your facts straight before you make inaccurate statements.
